Perfect Surgeon

Oct 9, 2023

The story has massive plotpoints, and is barely original. The MC is spineless and allows everyone to trample over him, and does nothing about it. This MC has been one of the most infuriating characters I have ever seen; he lets anyone step over him, he never stands up for himself, and in general is a pain to read. Unless you want to waste a few hours reading about a pathetic, spineless MC, don't read this manhwa.

The Heavenly Way

Sep 30, 2022

The MC is a wimp. The definition of a someone attemtping to be a hero, but instead is a jackass. Some of the other supporting characters are dumb. Do not recommend. the same formula where MC fights someone, barely wins, has to have someone always help him, is repeated entriely throughout the manhua. It is an infuriating read, that will bore you after just 30 chapters.

The Healing Solaris Cleric

Mar 25, 2022

The Healing Priest Of The Sun[Review] By Studio Griffin Story: This story is similar to "Overgeared", where the MC receives an extremely rare/legendary class/job in a "Full Dive-MMORPG" themed world, and plays the game to try and earn money in reality. However, the "Overpowered Factor" of the MC is his "kindness", where by doing good deeds, he becomes stronger. However, other than that unique twist, it is a typical manhwa story on "Full Dive-MMORPG", where the MC gets stronger, gets noticed, and is hunted to be recruited into the large guilds inside the... Return of the Mad Demon

Mar 24, 2022

Return Of The Mad Demon[Review] By Hi-Lee Story: The story is extremely bland and boring. This manhwa feel like a cookie cutter manhwa, where it is modelled after the "Murim-Second Chance" manhwa that has recently increased in demand. Many parts of the story are unexplained and are left as loose ends, and there are almost no challenges or situations that make the MC grow as a character and as an element in the series. The only reason why this manhwa gets an extra 1 rating is becuase of its hilarious comedy inputed at the most random times. Other than that, the story is... See full review

Return of the Blossoming Blade

Mar 23, 2022

Return Of The Mount Hua Sect[Review] By LICO Story: The story is a completely new, original idea, that is branched off "Murim-Second Chance" manhwa. In this series, the MC wins the war, but all his friends an dfamily are dead, and thus the MC thinks he has no point in living after killing the villain. However he is sent into the future, just to find out that his name was erased from existance, and the prestigous Mount Hua Sect that the MC was originally in has come to its near-ruin. This manhwa follows the rebirth of the Mount Hua Sect, as well as the MC's adventures in his... See full review

Reincarnated As An Unruly Heir[Review] By Jeon Ma-Du Story: This story is a typical reincarnated as a villain, which is rather generic, while at the same time possessing the "Murim" and "Overpowered MC" genres. However, this story was extremely bland. There was a bunch of unexplained stuff that made the reading experience extremely confusing, as well as the names of the titles in the manhwa. Nano Machine

Mar 23, 2022

Nano Machine[Review] By REDICE Studios Story: The story is a rather interesting combination of two well-liked genres,"RPG" and "Murim". This focuses on the MC, who at the verge of death received a "NanoBot" injection, which allowed him to utilise "Nano". The MC uses "Nano" to copy techniques and cultivation to become stronger, and thus this is the MC's "Overpowered Factor". Even though this series of manhwa is a new take on "RPG and "Murim", similar and branched off from popular manhwas like "... See full review

The Return of the Disaster-Class Hero

Mar 22, 2022

The Return Of The Disaster-Class Hero[Review] By REDICE Studios Story: The story is a well though out, original idea that has massive amounts of lore and history. Stories of the world are extensively explored and are extremely detailed, and enhance the reading experience to a new level. The story at first glance seems to be a generic "Returning-RPG" themed manhwa, but there is much more that meets the eye.  The mechanics of the world and the system are thoroughly explained throughout the manhwa series and there even special scenes dedicated to exploring lore and the... The Legendary Spearman Returns

Mar 22, 2022

The Legendary Spearman Returns[Review] By [Updating] Story: The story is rather messy and not organised, and the author seems to create items/characters, forgets about them, and then remembers them again. The story isn't even that good in the first place, and it does not make sense through several chapters. Lore and history of the fantasy world is not explained well, and is very brief. The manhwa series is, like many of its kind, completely based on revenge and vengeance and does not include other elements of genres. Truly bland and boring.' Art: The art is extremely low... How to Live as a Villain

Mar 22, 2022

How To Live As A Villain[Review] By [Updating] Story: This story is a branch off multiple genres that fuse. The story possesses some unique and original qualities and elements, and the motive of the MC is to become stronger. However, the MC is portrayed as "villain" like, although he is not really a villain. But the MC will betray whoever he deems "useless" so to survive and thrive. This quality is what separates it from other  fantasy-isekai manhwa. Overall, the fantasy world is built pretty decently, with enough explanations and explorations of the "RPG"... See full review

Villain to Kill

Mar 22, 2022

Villain To Kill[Review] By [Updating] Story: The story is sort of original and unoriginal at the same time; it involves a righteous MC who is reborn as a villain. However this manhwa is very draggy and likes to bring characters from many chapters ago back, and it continually recycles this sequence. Other than the idea, the story becomes basic and has usual fight sequences regularly, however does not include "breather" moments of other elements/genre, like life, romance, etc. Art: The art is severely below average art and the shading and tones of colors are done... Starting Today, I Am A Player[Review] By [Updating] Story: The story is a classical "Awakened-RPG" themed manhwa with the motive of revenge/vengeance. It is generic and basic and carries the same type of story as "Kill The Hero", where the manhwa solely focuses on revenge, and does not include other elements of life, romance, food, etc. Basically other genres, and this series was generic and unoriginal. I Am The Fated Villain

Mar 21, 2022

I Am The Fated Villain[Review] By Demon_Buster Story: An interesting new concept of murim-isekai, where the MC is a villain, and tries to not be killed by the hero by making changes that makes the hero more corrupt. In this story, the MC is isekaid as nobility and as the extremely powerful villain.  During the story, much character development takes place, and the "RPG" themed system mechanics are explained throughout the manhua. A new approach on a Villain MC, where both the villain and hero are struggling to live. Art: The art is rather decent, with shades and... See full review

I Get Stronger the More I Eat

Mar 21, 2022

I Get Stronger The More I Eat[Review] By IGSBE Story: The story is extremely unique and original; completely different from all other fantasy-isekai series I have ever seen. The MC has a "Overpowered Factor" of being able to absorb and use any part of an creature he eats. The story shows his growth as a character, and makes him as his party members face challengers they overcome to become stronger. But particularly, this MC is evil; which is a rare characteristic in MCs you would see today. There are currently three arcs in this series-The Growth Arc, where he... See full review

Mar 21, 2022

Solo Max Level Newbie[Review] By [Updating] Story: This story is a typical and generic "Awakened" type of story; it is generic and doesn't have good depth in the story. The MC knows everything; there are no challenges for the MC to further grow the MC. It is bland and the abandunce of this type of series is too much, there is no uniqueness and orginality to this series. The story is very fragmented; it appears there are some characters/items the author originally wrote, forgot, then immdietely forces it into the story. Legend of an Asura: The Poison Dragon

Mar 21, 2022

The Legend Of An Asura[Review] By [Updating] Story: The story absolute bungus. The story is dragged for so many chapters, and characters are rapidly introduced, making it hard to remember all of them. The MC is always weak, rather than becoming stronger, is always losing for longing than "Attack On Titan" existed. The story is a typical "Awakened" themed revenge/vengeance based story. Child Of The Sheath[Review] By Hyungmin Kim & Kyungill Yang Story: This story is original, however draws on "Murim" themes. This particular series focuses on a child who was adopted by the strongest villain; and it follows the journey, adventures and turmoil of "The Child Of The Sheath". The World After The Fall[Review] By Undead Potato Story: The story is a complete new take/approach on the fantasy-tower "Awakaners" theme genre. It possesses indivisuality and uniqueness and the idea and concept is completely original, and it branches off multiple genres but still has originality in the series. Maxed Out Leveling[Review] By [Updating] Story: This story is your classical "Awakened" genre of Overpowered MCs; this series is just generic and copies usual "Awakened" type genres. There is no indivisuality to this series, no uniqueness to it. However, one thing that stands out to me is that the MC doesn't want to gain money or fame, and just wants to live a peaceful life with his family and friends.
