I won't provide a summary of this story, because many others have already done so.

What you should know about this anime is that you will most likely enjoy it if you are, or were, a parent or primary caregiver. If not, if you're still young enough to not really care about kids, or if you don't really care about them regardless of your age, this show will bore you.

It brought back a lot of memories for me and I liked it quite a lot, but there wasn't a whole lot to it. The girl was incredibly cute and the stand-in dad was a good guy for stepping up to take care of her, so it was easy to like the main characters, but there wasn't much of a story.

Anyway, 8/10 if you're a primary caregiver and 6/10 if you aren't.
