As nearly every reviewer has said, this show is cute. As an example, we learn that the vampire girl enjoys nibbling on people. Not drinking blood, just sort of teething on them. So the group has a contest as to which person she would most want to chew on. She evaluates their arms like a connoisseur evaluating fine wine. The teacher loses by a landslide because his arm is hard and hairy. There was never a hint that her vampire instinct would take over and that she'd actually draw blood. This show never went in this direction - it always stayed positive.

That positivity made for such a relaxing anime. There isn't a single unlikeable character. Even the vice principal, who might have been a jerk, turned out not to be. Contrary to what we first think, he's actually looking out for the demi's when he told the teacher to spend less time with them so that they would make friends with other people. The very next episode, after seeing the demi's interacting with other students, he changes his mind and tells the teacher to keep doing what he's been doing. That, along with a brief and mild instance of bullying, were the only conflicts in the entire season.

It needs another season. I'm not upset at the way this ended, like I am with so many other shows, but there is easily enough story left for 12 more episodes.
