So, let me just start out by saying that the first four episodes of Season 2 were so good I can't even begin to describe them. They reveal Dazai's history and why he left the port mafia. I won't spoil it, but it had me in tears.

Unfortunantly, after those first four episode, the story just went back to being kinda average. I don't really know what it was, but even though the story was well done and the animation was amazing, there was something about this show that was lacking. I did not feel anything towards the other characters to be honest.

Story

This picks up right where the first season left off. I am not very good at sumarizing things so if you want a rundown on the plot you might as well google it or look at another review.

Note: the ending is set up for a season three.

Animation

I love the animeation style for Bungou Stray Dogs. It's a bit unique and all the character designs were lovely.

The scene that legit ripped my heart to shreds... ^^^

Characters

DON'T GET ME STARTED ON ODA... even though he is only in the first four episodes, I got so emotionally attached to him that I need help. He was very well done and shuch an amazing person (IF YOU WATCH THIS AT LEAST WATCH THE FIRST 4 EPISODES. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT).

Ok, so for the MC Atsushi... he kinda drives me crazy. He has a bad habit of viewing himself as week and helpless when he is clearly not and it pisses me off. He gets over it but not until the last freaking episode.

They did a good job with the rest of the characters. Though some of them are a bit cardboard, there was no one that I really disliked

One thing that did get annoyinbg though was how many new characters were introduced. Like they kept introducing new characters until the very end and there was no way I could have remebered who everyone was (and this anime did not make me care enough to even bother).

Sound

No complaints here. I quite liked the soundtrack and thought that it goes very well with the show.

--CONTENT ADVISORY--

This show is quite voilent in parts so it is not good for younger children. It's rated TV-14, so that should speak for itself.

There is some mild language at parts

Some of the scenes can be rather frigning, especially when regarding Yumeno Kyusaku and his abilities.

One of the characters abilities alow her to heal any wound, but her methods are slightly questionable.

One of the characters has a thing for her brother. It is merely suggestive and nothing is ever shown, though things are implied in regards to what she does to her brother.

8/10 story
10/10 animation
10/10 sound
7/10 characters
7/10 overall
