Both manga focus at least in part about sexual abuse from a step-father. A you can imagine Zankoku is deffinitly more in depth since it's much longer. Kyoukyuu is a much lighter an more cheerful story. However some who like one might like the other.

Both mangas have a tragic plot and are in all ways mature. Both touch a psychological aspect, so I would not recommend it to someone who cannot handle such disturbing stories/plots.

These mangas concentrate on a boy who is being sexually and just physically abused by elder man.

These are not some plain dry sex yaoi manga.

These manga are about feelings, about pain/angst, loathing, fear and shame.

Focusing on dysfunctional gay relationships, both Killing Stalking and Zankoku na Kami ga Shihai Suru deal with possessive, unhinged, violently selfish partners that subject their objects of affection to all sorts of abuse; furthermore, the victims are forced to endure living situations where the choice of leaving seems impossible, either through blackmail or threats on their lives. Dark, twisted "love" is compellingly and realistically presented in both, so if you like painfully realistic people and situations, check out either title.

both stories are messed up. Like both have a step family member rape them and the story is just sad. I do think that Zankoku na Kami has a better ending and is more interesting. Like in How to Kill a Heart, the rapist doesnt getany consequences (well in Zankoku he doenst really either but he kinda does)

Both deal with sexual abuse dealt by a close relative at a young age and convey it in a heart wrenching manner. It also shows the aftermath and healing (not completely I believe) of the said victim. It's just very sad and cruel.
