A certain beautiful princess was captured by a demon king, and a hero went out with his party of adventurers to rescue her. When he returned successfully, he asked for marriage as his reward... but not with the princess, with her maidservant Aria Milford! Aria was as shocked as anyone else, since she quite happily considers herself a minor character in this story! The hero is determined to win her hand and her heart, but what will she do about it?
Aria is a maid who sees femself as a "mob character," just one of the crowd. Definitely not somebody who should ever gain the attention of the hero, Greed. But upon returning from saving the princess and defeating the demon king, Greed asks for Aria's hand in marriage. In fact, apparently the only reason fe was even invested in saving the princess at all was because Aria had asked fem to. This manga is about the difficulty of declining somebody with overwhelming power. Somebody who might literally destroy the world if fe gets heartbroken. In fact, Greed doesn't even have full control of feir powers and if Aria rejects fem, the spirits who surround fem might cause a natural disaster. Feir powers have given fem a tragic backstory. The manga just cuts off at chapter 12, midstory. So I think I'll likewise cut this review off mi
