In Victorian England it is commonplace for the rich and wealthy to have a staff, led by a head butler, to run their households; the Phantomhive Estate is no different. The young and demanding Count Ciel Phantomhive, child owner of a toy company, lives in the grand countryside manor. Sebastian is his head butler, and the epitome of perfection; he effortlessly and gracefully completes his day-to day chores and fixes the countless mistakes of the other employees. However, whilst on the outside all seems prim and proper, a more sinister secret lies just beneath the surface. Sebastian is in fact a demon bound by a contract with the young count; he will loyally serve and fight for him in return for his soul.

If you like mysteries and stories based around England and Sherlock Holmes (no matter how loosely) then you would like both Ron Kamonohashi and Moriarty the Patriot. Ron is more fanciful and eccentric and Moriarty is more serious and political there. If you are wanting another detective mystery series then you should give these a try.
Christie Holmes is a prodigy. At ten years old, she's as familiar with the sciences and classics as any older student at Cambridge or Oxford. And her facility with logic is reminiscent of her uncle, the eminent Sherlock Holmes himself. So, what's a brilliant young girl to do when her parents are away in India, leaving her behind in the care of maids and servants? Why, solve mysteries, of course. Along with her giant hound Nelson, Christie's implacable curiosity leads her from one dangerous adventure to another, often joining forces with Uncle Sherlock and Doctor Watson on their famed investigations. Christie may look pint-sized, but her clever mind is never to be underestimated!
In a London cloaked in darkness, the Shadow Masters and their nightmarish crimes run rampant. Up against them, as they use the shadows to commit impossible crimes, is none other than the handsome young detective Sherlock Holmes and his partner Watson. In a city controlled by evil, an overwhelming battle of logic unfolds as Holmes takes on the ethereal-like shadow creatures one by one!! Is Holmes' shadow really his own!?
Sherlock Holmes' 17-year-old niece Christie is just as intelligent as her uncle. A lot of things are expected of a young woman from a good family, like Christie, but she has little patience for balls and fashionable corsets. Although she appreciates the maids who care for her, she'd rather spend her time working on interesting cases.
The Empire of Corpses is a story that takes place in 19th century Europe, and revolves around John Watson, who is scouted by the government to become a secret agent. However, Watson lives in a world where "Frankensteins"—human corpses that are re-purposed with a false soul in order to use them as labourers—are used to improve industrial development.
