Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku - Reviews

This really give me the light and fun romance vibe. I love how the author keep the focus on around six characters only as they're important to the story and their worlds do revolve around mangas and games. Such a refreshing and comedic manga I say. If you like something that ain't heavy, dark, or emotional but still kinda deep somehow, this might be you kind of manga!

The story revolves around 2 couples. All 4 of them are "otaku/nerd" they are not passionate about the same thing, everyone is into different things like gaming, cosplaying and anime/manga, thus slice-of-life & comedy is what the main focus of the manga

The clumsy side of these characters is the biggest attraction. All couples were adorable. The relationships, the developments, and everyone growing is just so nice to see.

On the flip side, the ending felt lacking. Every single characters other than the main characters got more development, even the ML's brother and his girl got more development. It feels lackluster compared to the leaps and bounds everyone else got, but alas! it is what it is. Still love what little development we did get.

I absolutely love this manga. It's so funny, endearing, and relatable. The romance aspect is perhaps the weakest - it doesn't progress very much apart from the first and last volumes, although they're sweet.The real strength of it is in its humour and the friendship between the characters, which is so fun to read about.

I really really loved this manga but somethings felt very rushed or werent covered enough. Like for example the Main couple.

Out of the three main couples the most important one also gets the least coverage??? And the yaoi obsession was very awkward to read and just wasnt nececery to the plot. 

Sinceramente é uma história MUITO boa no geral como comédia, pois ela te pega MUITO nesse aspecto ainda mais você vivendo o que eles vivem por serem otakus, as referências no mangá são maravilhosas e tem diversas é bem bonito no geral também só que no quesito romance pelo menos o casal principal peca e peca MUITO sinceramente... A Narumi e o Hirotaka o mangá INTEIRO são basicamente só amigos se beijaram 2 vezes em sei lá quantos anos de namoro sendo que a Narumi provavelmente já tinha vindo de outros relacionamentos com muito mais experiencia do que só beijos, mas bom felizmente pra contornar isso temos (o que eu considero) o casal principal verdadeiro da obra que é a maravilhosa Koyanagi e o Kabakura que carregam nas costas o romance do mangá inteiro... Desenvolvimento dele é incrível como um casal mesmo, são uma comédia juntos a quimica deles é surreal sinceramente, todos os casais tem quimica mas esses dois são diferentes, no geral uma obra bem divertida e com ótimos personagens.
