If you don't care about having a smart MC then you might like it. I dropped it at chapter 15. The mc was never told to not tell why he was "breaking up" with the girl, it really was done like that just to add a dumb drama. Why is the mc dumb?: What matters the most in murim? POWER.  "Actually is money because with money you can hire powerful people" but in the end, still, is all about power. So with that the mc instead of getting more prominent, building his wealth, he chooses to ghost the girl  for two years and when he comes back he pretends to not know her, and saying that he hated his time with her. That's a dumb dude right there. He is doing it for himself, not for her.

This is a fun one. You can see the tone from the very first chapter. Story is OP MC but with no reincaranation. It's the same theme as with these other stories where MC doesn't want to get involved into Murim stuff but they keep bugging him. He tries to protect the ones close to him while ruthlessly killing his enemies. MC has a personality. I have to mention it because they are usually cardboard with no feelings, emotions, or anything. Here he can laugh, make jokes and feel. That makes him more understandable as a character. If you want an MC that just kills and has no feelings then this is not for you. It has a beautiful light romance which didn't bother me at all. It actually added a layer to MC's personality seeing his struggle. I'm not a fan of stories where romance is the main plot at all, but I don't mind it when it's a sub plot which is the case here. 95% of the time MC fight bad guys and the rest he banters with his girl. Edit: Eh it's alright. I can see now why certain comments were made. This girl has too much influence on MC it becomes annoying. MC is too OP yet not enough so he always win but he also never root out the cause of all the bad things happening. There's still mystery behind his powers and all he does is run around and beat people up. Frankly I'm a bit disappointed now and thinking of dropping it or at least stalling it indefinitely.
