Demon's and angels have a way with falling in love with humans or one another. Both Wish and BlackxBlack are touching stories about 2 people falling in love from very different ways of life. If you liked one check out the other.

Both are stories about angels and demons on earth, involving complicated romances between various species. Reading one is strongly reminicient of reading the other, and people who enjoyed one will no doubt enjoy the other

Kobato.

Kobato.

Meet Kobato Hanato, a sweet and rather simple young girl on a quest to have her single, dearest wish granted. But first, she must learn the ways of the world from Ioryogi-san, a gruff blue dog whose bark is just as bad as his bite! Under his "tutelage", Kobato puts her efforts into passing various trials of common sense so that she may obtain the key to getting her wish-a magic bottle which must be filled with the suffering of wounded hearts that Kobato herself has healed. But with Kobato's common sense sorely lacking, she keeps flunking Ioryogi-san's trials left and right! It looks like the road that lies ahead of Kobato will be a long one indeed!

In addition to both being penned by the manga group CLAMP, both Kobato. and Wish share similar themes of eternal love, loss, sacrifice and soulmates. Both Kobato and Kohaku are loveable goofballs, who also have pure hearts and the gift of song.

It's also worth mentioning that in true CLAMP fashion, the world both stories take place in are the same. As such, the plotlines of both of these manga are related and I feel that Kobato is basically something of a sequel to Wish, as Kohaku and Shuichiro do make an important appearance in Kobato. So, basically, if you wanted more of Wish, read Kobato - and if you like Kobato and want to see CLAMP's earlier attempt at a very similar storyline, read Wish.

The stories aren't exactly similar, but the artwork is VERY similar and both stories involve travel between different worlds/planes of existence. I think CALMP fans will enjoy both.

Much to his surprise, Keiichi's wish is granted and Belldandy herself will stay with him forever; and that's where the trouble begins. I feel like the tone of these 2 series is quite different - AMG is quite solidly shounen while Wish is more neutral. But they both involve a not-quite-human female coming to Earth to help a lonely young man, and they both involve elements of fantasy. They are similar enough that someone who likes one of them should seriously check out the other.
