I swear to goodness this is one of the ABSOLUTE CUTEST THINGS I'VE EVER READ. I and stuck in a permanent smile throughout every single book, and I doubt anyone who reads this could possibly NOT be stuck smiling reading it too! The story is cute, but what really makes the series work are the characters. You've got Anima, this supposedly intimidating Demon Lord who's actually just a cinnamon roll, Luina, who's just a total sweetheart who gives of Tohru Honda vibes, and then the children who are just... They're precious. Marie is an adorable smol bean, Myuke is one of the few tsundere characters I actually love, and Bram is hilarously smug. Overall, I just love this series. I love reading about this supposedly intimidating demon lord breaking down into tears of joy when his adopted daughters call him Daddy. I love that the series depicts a married couple just being cute toegther and raising their adopted daughters. And I love how just about all of the conflict is solved rationally and easily so we can get back on track to what really matters... Watching an adorable family be adorable together.
