Hello, this is my first review. When I saw the rating, I thought I should at least give my opinion. I've read this korean comic and finished it really quickly because I loved it. If you are looking for a cute/fluffy yaoi, you will be disappointed. This is a mature comic with complex characters and stories. It is heartbreaking at some point, because you feel for the main characters. Also, there are a lot of smex scenes and they are not overexagerated as they're are pretty realists.  I think I get why a lot of people don't like it as much as other stories. To be honest, I think the author was bold in portraying the main character Kyujin. (SPOILER from here) Usually, you have a love triangle, but in the end, the main character always chooses someone to date, and leave the other one in the friendzone. In "My lover, my teacher" Kyujin falls in love with 2 people that also love him, but throughout the years, he's been having trouble deciding which one he loves more and he ends up kinda as the "bad guy" because he ens up drifting from one to the other. But it is clearly shown that he likes these 2 for different reasons. I personally think that it is possible to love more than one person and it can be a struggle (being monogamist) to choose one person. The character is confused, he's being honest about it too. Some of his decisions might seem harsh towards his cousin or student, but he actually got their support in some ways so he could more easily go from one to the other. I think the ending couldn't be more perfect. Because he can't choose and because he knows that he is unintentionally hurting his lovers, he decides to leave to live alone on some island. Because he understand that he can't stop it. He loves them both and it will always be a struggle. This ending shows how genuine his feelings are. I just thought it was very sad, yet romantic.  My overall rating; 10! Characters: 10. I love their psychological development, how pure and honest they are, their design, personalities.  Story: 10. Well written, realist, not overdramatique but sad, great ending imo. Not too long either. Art: 8. The art is not the most polished, but all the scenes are well drawned (the smex scenes as well). You can easily differentiate every characters as they have unique traits. The art is similar to the artist's other comic. Also the emotions are expressed well. So I think the rating is not too high since it is a pretty down to earth comic, with complex human emotions. The main character is not your typical "hero". But you should check it out, you might be surprised like me :)
