Transmigrator Meets Reincarnator (Novel) - Reviews

I LOVEDDDD this novel so much!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know what it is but it seemed different from other "person in strange world" and "going back in time" stories. I really loved it and reread it a couple times already. I recommend everyone to give it a chance especially since its not as popular as it should be. I've been looking for other stories that are similar to this lately because it's so good 😌✌🏼 

I wanted to give it a 1 star but out of respect for the dedicated translators, I added an extra star.

I am an extremely generous rater but boy, this novel.

A good example of 'The higher the expectation, the greater the disappointment'.

I had high expectations because it was a mix between isekai and reincarnation and that sounds like something rather fresh but heck noo *cringing dying crying* because except for some extremely tiny contribution, it is just plain old boring cliché Chinese family drama (HOW DID THAT HAPPEN, UGH). There was no substantial development between the FL and ML until chapter 300ish (WHAT).

It started off quite well until chapter 50ish where I feel the author kinda ran out of idea mid-way and was just prolonging the inevitable.

It had Potential but It got blown away due to poor execution. The story simply got progressively worse over time, so much so that I had to recheck the genre if this is marketed toward pre-teen but no, it's josei. The plots are just so overly convenient that I wanted to bang my head on the well sometimes while reading.

No offense to those who dig it, extremely meh for me.
