I cant say alot about the story as it will reveal spoilers, especially if you havent read part 1 yet, so this review will be very short. But there is not much to say anyways, part 1 was already great and part 2 continues this.

Story
Part 2 starts with Ja Wangnan who is taking the test on floor 20, he has failed this test many times and this is his last chance. When he takes the test for the final time he meets Jyu Viole Grace, a dangerous and very powerfull young man wearing the cape of a notorious criminal gang. Will Ja Wangnan be able to pass the test or, in the worst case scenario, will he be killed by this mysterious young man?

When comparing Part 2 with Part 1 the story has improved and there are still many secrects out there yet to be discovered. The story was a slow in the middle during the Workshop Battle arc and the Hell Train arc (around chapter 100-150) but after chapter 150 the story has been in full throttle. The amount of action has greatly increased in the later half making ToG a real power fantasy. This does mean it has less games like part and and is a sort of DBZ like non stop power up party, but for me personally it has kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Like part 1 the art is in full colour, In my review of part 1 I mentioned that the art wasn`t that good but it slowly kept on improving itself. The art has continued to improve itself in part 2, when you compare the art of the latest chapters with the first chapters in part 1 you can see significant differences, some later chapters were really amazing to look at and SIU kept on raising the qualities bar every arc.

Cast
Part 1 had a large cast but in part 2 the cast has been tripled if not more. Because of the size of the cast the characters won`t get alot of screentime. Despite that there is still enough of growth in the main cast and the more important teammembers. And very important, the huge cast does not clutter the story, you can still follow the story with relative ease.

Part 1 - Part 2
- 8,5 --- 9,0 - Story
- 7,5 --- 9,0 -- Art
- 8,0 --- 9,0 - Characters
- 8,7 --- 9,0 -- Overall enjoyment

If you havent read this manga yet you should definitely start with reading!

Since I think I'm the only person that was really disappointed with part two of this manhwa, I figured there needs to be a review that represents the other side.

In the first one everything is amazing. They are students, they are just beginning, and the hopelessness makes sense.

In part 2, they are supposed to be super strong, but its meaningless that they develop strength in any way, because it is always to just get to a part where someone so ridiculously stronger than them turns up. They are both powerful and hopeless? Kind of silly.

There are too many characters to follow. When you need to remember 30 names, and what all of them are doing, its a bit much.

But the part that really killed it for me was when Bam does something for himself that he knows will take a friend's life. It was sooooooooo out of character for him. I couldn't handle a character change to that degree with no warning ahead of time. I know people change, but it is rarely overnight.

Absolutely piece of shit storyline, keeps on repeating itself. Too long and boring arcs and all you know is despair. Even hentak series have better stories.

I dropped this work at 169 so I do not know what happens and I don't really care.

Why is the second season worse then first? Its simple:
1. Too many useless characters.
2. Exposition is 90% of everything but still new powers, new items come out of nowhere.
3. The plot is repetetive and stops being interesting.

This makes most of the dialog boring, ah look a new character, lets talk about him for two chapters! You know he won't be important at all later on, but here we go anyway! It's sad though Rachel story was pretty interesting and her character was I guess the only one interesting for me. Others were fun, but not that interesting, but this wasnt enough for me to grind the thru the load of useless filler.

NOTE: Being this is a sequel, this review is not as in depth as my review for part 1 was,so you may want to read my Tower of God review before this one.

I'm not a big fan of doing reviews but this manhwa is too good to leave reviewless.

This is the sequel to SIU's  Tower of God but the question is.....does it measure up to part 1?

STORY: Well it not only measures up but surpasses it's predecessor. It starts off with new characters but  slowly reintroduces all the characters from part one as well, making it enjoyable getting to know the new characters and seeing what's happened with the cast of part 1. On top of that the action, plot twists and overall story is so much more intriguing, that I can't really stop reading it.

Art: The art is still as usual nice to look at and seems to have broken away a little from the gender neutral issue it had before (Not a huge difference but it is there) and while not the most well drawn work of all time,it's better than most shounen (here's looking at you Hunter x Hunter) so unless it must be Tite Kubo level of art,you won't have any issues at all.

CHARACTERS: All the old favorites and a bunch of new characters fill this installment. All the new characters end up being very likable and add more depth to an already deep read.

OVERALL: If you like reads with a clever plot that has a nice balance of action and story, with a little comedy thrown in at the perfect time, than this is a read I suggest you put on your list as it's quite a gem of a read.
