Totally Captivated - Reviews

I have seen people talk about how good this manhaw is and so I decided to give it a go but I absolutely didn't like it.

There are so many issues to address. First of all, can we take a moment to talk about how Mookyul didn't bat an eye sleeping with his "father" and tries to justify it by saying, "Oh! But he saved me. How can I leave him? So I'll sleep with him instead". It was sickening. 

Ewon is no saint either. But I feel bad for him. Yes I do! He's probably the only character I like in the whole thing and even he's not that great. The story kicks off with him cheating and he was an utter asshole in the beginning. But he devoted everything of his to Mookyul and in return all he got was lies. For this reason, I truly feel bad for him.

I hated how Ewon gets treated by Mookyul. Like, Mookyul practically didn't let go of anything of his own to be with Ewon, he was constantly lying to Ewon. On the other hand, Ewon was being pushed around, wasn't allowed to be with his friends, didn't have any personal space. HOW UTTERLY SUFFOCATING THAT MIGHT FEEL LIKE! Even in sex, Mookyul didn't care about how Ewon was feeling and would jump at him any chance he gets. It's as if Mookyul wanted a slave, not a lover. Even then Ewon went back to Mookyul again and again. It was his toxic trait. Their relationship is toxic, YES!

I lost my shit when Ewon and Mookyul got back together after the big fight only to find out that Mookyul had lied even that time. I absolutely lost my shit. 

NO DICK IS WORTH THIS CRAP. NOPE.

I legit wanted him to be with Moon or Jiho instead. They treated him better than Mookyul ever did. 

Story:

Its about a guy named Ewon Jung who gets dumped by his partner Jiho Shin after cheating on him.
As revenge Jiho makes him work for the mafia, and his new boss is Mookyul Eun.
Plenty of love and drama in this manga if you ask me.
 

Art:

The art style is acceptable, but could have been better.

Characters:

Ewon Jung: Is a cute uke and you fall in love with his personality.

Mookyul Eon: Dont love his attitude, but he's a macho seme soo its alright.

Jiho Shin: Needs more guts, and give up to easily if you ask me, he annoys me.

Overall:

I enyoyed this manga it was fun to read, a bit predicteble but still nice.
I came to love the characters, and they did develop a little which was nice.
The story kept me captivated just like the title predicted it would *grin*
Theres' also a continuation of the manga a kind of second series, its called Totally Captivated dj.

SPOILER ALERT it made me so unbelievably pissed omfg im still so pissed aft finishing it. i loved how possessive seme is yeah BUT HOLY FUCKING SHIT its so annoying how he has double standards like wow he doesnt like uke seeing other guys but he himself goes and suck his old mans dick like wtf??? and he thinks its totally fine cuz hes paying back his lifesaver?????????? and says the guy treats him like a son and their rlship is completely normal? i fucking blew up reading that. not saying uke is good hes trash too sleeps around while in rlship w his ex plus while dating seme. but holy shit seme makes me unbelievably mad its insane. but the worst of all this is the stupid disgusting old man chairman who gets his dick sucked by seme often omfg. its so horrible i am just so disgusted. also towards the end he kidnaps seme and doesnt let him out until seme says he'll continue his job or smth which probably refets to sucking his dick??? and seme DID get out n we didnt see what happened in btwn so like what, seme still rolls in bed w old man behind uke in the end? after that happy ending? omg...

also uke is just a pushover in their rlship its a bit ugh.. not a big deal to me tbh what got the rating down for me is the thing with the dad. seme was probably groomed by that old fucker. its just so... ugh

in conclusion i was just mad and disgusted reading this. yes i like messed up shit too but theres a line i draw. i just hate manhwas that get me mad

This story give me many emotion. Laughing.. Being love. Crying. I cried for Ewon... His story is really sad. Being alone. Dumped by his mother. And scared to left by someone he love. It made me cry. But over all i love the ending :)

Wel, i have read many Boys love manga but this manga is the my most favourite one.  

This story about a guy Ewon jung who fall in love with a gang boss mookyul Eun during working. Actually the gang boss mookyul was in love with ewon since childhood dince ewon words made him to survive this cruel world by encouraging him. Their lots of emotions, misunderstang, actions and crazy loves of mookyul for ewon jung. I laughed, cried and felt good during reading this manga. My favourite one.
