Working!!

Working!!

Self-professed lover of all things small and cute, Souta Takanashi finds himself dragooned into working at the Wagnaria family restaurant by the diminutive and vivacious Poplar Taneshima. Though the pay is reasonable and the clientele polite, the high school student is often at his wits' end when dealing with the quirky staff. If the indifferent and street-tough manager, katana-carrying floor chief, and terminally weak Poplar weren't enough, Souta frequently fears for his life, as every encounter with the violently androphobic Inami ends in injury. How long can he survive before the combined stress and harm do him in?

Reasons you might like Working!!...

Koos Koos says...

The characters and settings are extremely similar (to the point that 'Working!!' was probbly a strong inspiration for Floor ni Maou ga Imasu).

The biggest difference is that 'Working!!' is less ecchi and all its characters are human (no magic or demons).

That being said. 'Working!!' is a lot longer (so far) and has a few anime seasons. Defenetly worth reading.

The demon lord, who looks and acts like a teenage girl, has lost her legendary powers and is forced to rely on the heroes to find a way to escape the prison. The sorcerer, who is leading the search on how to break out of the spell, can’t help but to tease the now powerless, bratty and emotional demon lord that once was a threat to the entire world.

Shina Dark

The mysterious island of Shina Dark is home to many secrets, including Satan, the legendary demon lord who has been resting for many years. Known as an unstoppable force that likes nothing more than destroying cities and fondling young girls each night, Satan is feared around the world. So when an eclipse forms the Exoda Ring, causing the demonic island to rise and Satan to be revived, people from across the land send him 1,000 cute girls as a sacrifice. However, there's a catch: Satan not only has no desire to destroy anything, but he also has no interest in groping young girls! As the would-be sacrifices are deemed tainted they cannot return home, and must now find a way to live alongside the ‘terrifying' demon lord. However, one question remains: if Satan doesn't exist to destroy, then what exactly is his purpose?
