Very similer in almost every way but WATN better
mostly very similar but the MCs are very different so worth the read
Both are based on game and time travel. Both seek adventure with there previous game's knowledge .
They're both a hot mess, in a good way. They really showcase the beauty of just messing with anyone and everyone. If you love seeing the MC mess with a bunch of randos, which I assume you do if you like The Worn and Torn Newbie, you'll love Return of the SSS-Class Ranker.

Worn and Torn Newbie is about a guy who goes back in time hence able to take advantage of the future info he knows and earn the money he didn't previously have...
Ranker's Return is about a guy who had the top rankings but then quit the game but returned to earn money to pay debts and such... he is also able to use his advanced information to his advantage.
It is both similar with the fact that the story takes place in a virtual game world, but for me i can say that "Ranker's Return" is a better read than "Worn and Torn Newbie" and which is why i wont recommend it both ways, only if you havent read Ranker's Return and are looking for something similar of the plot. I can say its a good read as well

Although plot wise the two series aren't very similar the two main characters are. Both are arrogant and do what it takes to get what they want. Both series are fun and will end up with you rooting for them.

Both are set in VRMMORPG and MCs both get really strong and break records. Though they differ in plot Worn and Torn has past knowledge and Taming master unlocks hidden specs, they both have similar style.
