Interesting premise, I'd say the first dozens chapters are really good and you get into the story. It's about revenge and conspiracies with a lot of political intricacies. Seeing how everything was set you expect to read an alluring story with a smart mc planning stuff from behind while slowly gaining power. At least that's what I thought and as I mentioned earlier it starts that way.But then the author decides that the mc has to play with girls so now almost a third of the plot will be him flirting with girls. Adn there is that annoying girl you just want to slap her in the face. The story was good but I don't know why the author added romance in it. It just lower the quality of it all because now we have random flirting and the stupid girl acting like a kid. The main plot of revenge and slowly gaining power has turned into something else completely. That's the problem when you have too many subplots and they overtake your main plot. I dropped this because I couldn't stand to see a cool and composed mc in the beginning who's now playing around, blushing all the time and making silly faces. And more girls keep coming so i'm sure he will get dumber. Lastly the TL tought it was a good idea to change the Chinese name to English ones, it's so annoying to have a cultivator in freaking ancient China called Jonas Stark or Michael Smith.Anyway, it's a good manhua to spend time but definitely not in the high tier list.
