The Villainess's Stationary Shop - Reviews

To be clear, a stationary story probably means something different in Korea compared to the rest of the general populace. I was a little confused at the beginning of the story because she mentions that she has candy in the store. I was like ??? my local stationery shop has never carried candy as far as I know.

Turns out, she was thinking of something similar to a general store for children. They'd have knick-knacks, food, candy, and other treats that only children can enjoy.

I don't know how the story will turn out with that type of business model so I'm quite curious to see how she'll shake up the whole of the empire. So far, she has rescued an ML and has begun building her small store from the dregs of her finances. 

Only chapter 4 has been translated so I can't really say if this is great but I smell potential! The art style is also well done and the MLs were drawn with an eye to detail that I can certainly approve of. I will update this review by Chapter 20.

Spoilers ahead!- This is one of the best Manwha's I think i've read, I've Finished/Read over about 80-90 manwhas, And this one is unique in a lot of ways, For example motive, It was to make more children happy, And rather than the reason being something vague like, because she likes children, It was because in her childhood, She was often given happiness by Stationary store workers, Which is a really different motive from contantly thinking "I must survive" Which seems to be a more common trope, Another reason I really like it the character of the MC, She is more blunt and prevents the more anoying misunderstandings to blossom for the readers, And She's also a girlboss! She told off her old maluputive Family and cheating fiance! also beat up some bad criminals! ect,

Her character is just very nice in general, And god forbid I not mention the artstyle! It is really pretty and has many unique ways to show things, Adding a bit of a comedy factor, And Honestly there is a lot of hot men and memes you can take from this, [The ladies are also very pretty]
The future of this manwha is bright!

[Also By the way I'm not saying the Cliche's I mentioned are bad, I'm just pointing out how unique and fun this story is]

I honestly did not expect to like this manhwa as much as I did. The FL is pretty awesome and has an optimistic personality. But also has a "I give no fucks" side to her, that's saved for her trashy family and steaming piece of shit fiancé. I love how she's left them and tried to annul her engagement by trying to become a commoner. I just want her shop to be huge success and for her to have a happy life.

Honestly, the villainess' genre has been declining in quality lately. I quite enjoyed this and that's a happy surprise. The leads are likable, early chapter villains are a bit bland but the story doesn't revolve around them unlike some manwhas- and even though I can't praise the character depth to the top (mostly because this is pretty new and has less chapters), their dynamics are still pretty nice. Art is great, nothing much to say honestly, it doesn't exactly have a signature look but I think there doesn't need to be one if it's already great. Story is calming type, which I like.

It's one of those manhwas that will bring a smile to your face cuz it's such a cute and sweet read! I find myself rereading some chapters because of that.

The characters are all great and somewhat memorable and the kids slay ofc (if only they were like this in real life tho).

The whole tension between the mc and her sister and ex is kinda interesting but I would like to see her find herself in a predicament that is hard to get out of because rn she is basically trampling on them (as she should tho). 

Chapters are also updating pretty consistently so I have faith that this manhwa could get completed!
