As of chapter 42, we see a focus on the relationship between the main character and main love. The main character has a good history and personality, but she (if not all characters) are portrayed less serious and more comedic.

We know that the main character is in fact, not a princess by blood, therefore bullied by the actual step sister of the king. We don't see much of her after a few chapters unlike most princess webtoons. The main love is a hard head, but easily jealous. Theres not much background history to him as of right now and I hope that all characters will be given a little more in depth story soon to add to their personality. It's just a bunch of angry/comedic points where you just dont see much character development.

The art is what I have the most trouble with while reading. 60% of the art is shoulders up, theres some time where they show hips and up, but most of the story are zoomed frantic faces foaming (in a funny way.) The background does not have any changes in it. In the main love's "headquarters," we see a blurry blue/dark painted glass windows and that's about it. No other section of the place is revealed, and this also goes for the Kings palace. We at least see more sections of the areas but there are no transition background images.

Overall, it's an okay story. Probably my least favorite out of all the current webtoon/princess franchise, but still a good read to pass the time.

It's mostly a parody of styles and the side stories are stupid with to much blablablabla. I don't think it's completly annoying and some ridiculous moments were funny (I loughed at times), but yeah.

It's mostly a comedy with some romantic features. The isekai part is only a somewhat introduction and to advertise this title but I'm unable to comprehend any deeper meaning behind this. Though some of her character featers got shipped through the reincarnation but both are similar only by name.

The romance is plain but not bad. It's easy to understand 'why'. The Comedy is at times funny and sometimes not funny, in sum it's not even average due to the parody style, so it either suits your taste or not.

It's definetly better than most chinese titles. But if you reach out for this don't get your hopes to high.

The art is edible but far away from other manhuas U might have encountered. I think I'll keep it as the LAST position to follow while I'm waiting for the other 999 (symbolic number)  to be continued.

I had to push through the first 15 chapters before the story started to get good. And let me tell you that it was a PUSH like no other because the art style, in the beginning, is incredibly inconsistent and displeasing - it felt like they had three artists working on each panel and couldn't decide on what style they wanted to do so they did all of them.

Not to mention, the story was so rushed and horribly paced. Flashbacks, when done well, supplement the story and helps the readers know something about the character that we wouldn't have known otherwise. This could be a personality trait, background story, maybe a secret that they'll use in the future. But, if overused, this becomes a crutch that could potentially undermine the character's development arc - which they have done in this manhwa.

They bring out her past whenever convenient, just to explain away her behavior or give her skills that normally she shouldn't be able to know. And it's not just at the beginning either; throughout the 90 chapters of which I've read, they bring it up continually and somewhat inorganically, to the point where you just know that she'll be able to succeed regardless of whatever it is that she's facing.

So with everything that was mentioned there, should you still read this manga?

I would say yes, but with reservations. Don't expect a super serious plot with characters that are fully fleshed out or have deeper undertones to how they were written. You can expect a cat-and-mouse game of falling in love between the female lead and the male lead, all covered in a healthy dose of comedy. The characters here aren't as constrained by their world, since the female lead often goes absolutely apeshit when the situation calls for it, but you could still see power struggles amongst the nobles and the competition between the two ladies vying for the male lead's heart.

The existence of the younger brother, who eventually becomes the tyrant, is also a welcome addition to the otome genre since I don't think I've seen a manhwa that executed a plot the way that this did. The rebellious and confusing character of the emperor and brother of the female lead is quite refreshing, especially when you see how realistic their relationship is. I mean, to everyone who has a sibling, you know that it's not always as cute as how these mangas / manhwas portray them to be. I only look forward to seeing how the brother will grow up to be as a ruler and how this will affect the lives of everyone that govern the empire.

I'll definitely read the updates because I think I've read too far and I'm too invested to not know how everything turns out.

Gotta say i had expectations for this novel, and none were met. Idk where to start but first off the title "tyrant's sister" wheres the tyrant???? the only ruler here is a 11 year old boy (which makes NO sense whatsoever forget guardians how could you ever crown someone whos not even a teenager??) who acts so childish i wouldnt even call him an adult forget a tyrant, the only thing i enjoyed were the interactions between some characters you can tell the author has a great sense of humor which i definitely enjoyed but theres really nothing else commendable to the story. I failed to sense a plot and 90 chapters in the female mc still is incredibly unaware of her feelings while the male mc has repeatedly confessed its frustrating and i doubt i will read more. its a great story for a laugh if thats what you're looking for but dont expect too much of an interesting plot

An interesting dynamic between an emperor , his big sister and the nations war hero. I loved the sibling relationship. It was bickering but loving and made the whole manga. The male lead was smart but also petty in a way that was funny. All the characters were so relateable that even when there were loose ends or plotholes, you didn't really mind. Basically the plot revolves around big sis and war hero trying to keep her 10 year old emperor brother safe from the nobles who want to overthrow him. There is a main theme of ares falling in love with fl right off the bat and much of the story is him using all sorts of tricks to get close to her. A really good read.
