Villains Are Destined to Die

Villains Are Destined to Die

This game’s got me obsessed! It’s like it’s taken over my life... wait—HARD MODE ACTIVATED. No-no-no-no-no! It has literally taken me and thrown me into the part of Penelope Eckhart. Love is easy as the heroine, but as the hated villainess, I’m trying very hard not to die… at the hands of my brothers… the prince… a fork… every possible ending is death! This world is stacked against me, but can my wits and insider game knowledge score the affection of these male characters? Or the reset button???

Simillar in family neigligence not because they are incapable of love or are villainous but because of unspoken issues and finally realizing those issues and trying to build comunication when it is in ruins back up. They both are about Female main character being in poor relationship with her family to the point of trauma, trying to regain her voice and finding herself anew while her family is finaly open to the trauma that they inflicted upon her by not solving misunderstandings and plain negligence because of FMC's new/unusual behaviour. It's a story with great characters, with ppl not plainly good or bad, situations of black and white. It's about trauma, salvation, new beginig, change.

chocolatier chocolatier says...

Both have similar themes making you root for the mc while leaving room for sympathy, the families gaining some understanding of what they've done 😏, and gaining a better life...And hopefully both will live....... Draws you in with beautiful art and makes you love and hate characters at every turn

AthyFairy AthyFairy says...

Family background is simile where both fl were disregarded by family

so fl grew up emotional abuse

calko calko says...

The Terminally Ill manhwa is quite similar to Villains are Destined to Die. Both main characters are repressed in their early lives by their family. Due to this, they are both affected and act a certain way, taking all the crap thrown their way with a composed face. They both change throughout the story learning that they don't have to listen to other people and can do what they want. I think both male leads are good too, though the one in Villans Are Destined to Die has a bad first impression.

Anyways, Villains Are Destined to Die is a good manhwa and vice versa.

How to Win My Husband Over

How to Win My Husband Over

I thought I’d finally escaped my hellish life when I died in an airplane crash, but I fell into another nightmare when I awoke as Rudbeckia de Borgia, a minor villain from a historical novel destined to die at the hands of her husband, Iske van Omerta. Surviving with the dysfunctional Borgia family is hard enough, but now I have to marry the man who will kill me! Still, it’s okay, I just have to convince Iske, his family, and all his countrymen that I’m completely harmless! How hard can that be?

Both FLs in these manhwas have very trash families, they both have to deal with pain, except in a quite different way. In "How To Win My Husband Over", Ruby has to deal with abuse and has serious eating disorders and in "Karina's Last Days", Karina has to deal with depression and sickness. Either way, both feature very similiar stories and both MLs also kinda hate both FLs - and they're both HAWT! :D

For the tones of the manhwas, I think that these two stories have very similar tones. They are both light-hearted stories. But I personally think that "How To Win My Husband Over" is more darker than "Karina's Last Days" because there are serious trigger warnings in the manhwa that could be uncomfortable for people to read about.

Anyways, if you want to find out more, read these two stories, they're both rich and imaginitive, amazingly emotional manhwas!

MinRei MinRei says...

I think that these two share the fact that their fl had bad experiences and are carrying that weight with them, and that their ml becomes one of their main source of light, not just in a romantic way but basically their existence are there as comfort and a reminder that it's ok to be not ok.

Idk if that description give them justice but these two are quite the emotional read.

HappiestHappier HappiestHappier says...

There is some sort of feeling or vibe I get off of them when I'm reading, both have very hooking stories and while reading I get easly worked up or I start crying. The characters both have had trama and need some mental help.

Animexgirl100 Animexgirl100 says...

Both have abusive/neglectful families and a fl that runs away from them, and has truama. As well as a cold at first ML, that grows to love the fl and both of them have major points that have to do with taking care of the fl's fam and for the fl to get over trauma.

Both are stories revving around FL who have artistic talent and were sacrificed by their parents for the sake of their sick younger siblings. Both enter relationships with the goal of escaping their family.

Both have female leads that always put others' needs before themselves, and allow them to be mistreated. Both female leads realize that they need to take care of themselves and finally fights back and takes control of their destiny.

Similar families, sickly younger sibling, except the sister in No More Nice Sis is trash and the one in Karina is unwitting. Both stories have trash parents. Heroine in both are talented artists.

When the Villainess is in Love

When the Villainess is in Love

When a young girl wakes up in the body of her favorite character, villainess Princess Libertia, the very first thing she decides to do is... fangirl her heart out! And why not? In a novel where all of her favorite characters are doomed to die, this is her chance to give them all a happy ending. But will the story play out as she expects when people start to see Princess Libertia in a new, forgiving light? One fangirl’s love might be what it takes to turn this villainess into a heroine!

DeiMadepo DeiMadepo says...

Similar in case of terminal illness. Apart from that "When the villainess is in love" is more of a comedy where she's not actually dying but seems so to others and all her sentences are turned in others perspective as if she is dying. Like she says "oh, it's the last time I.." and they all react as if it's actually so, when she just means it's her last time because somwthings annoyig or food not tasty so she will just not eat it not that she'll be unable to. (I made these exaples up, btw) And as for "The Time of the terminay l extra" is more so that she is actually dying and she's hiding that fact due to family negligence and through her last days she finds herself anew by the help of her fiance. So, it's more drama based. Cried my eyes out, actually, but I've been told that my emphaty level is high so, dunno. So, one is more comedy as in the illness is just a condition rather than actual sentence of death, the other more drama since it is an actual terminal illnes with a hint of mc trying to hide it (poorly).
