To be honest, I started reading this novel with high expectations since the plot was promising. After about 30-40 chapters though, I got tired of the same old praise: "MC was beautiful, MC was smart, MC was overpowered, too good  to be true", telling not showing The ML is also OP, which makes the story kind of boring at some point, since it's not even hard for them to get what they want, and the lack of the character's weakness doesnt make them attractive or human. For me, it just feelings like reading about two robots that are following their well-known fate. Not fun. !Spoiler! Maybe some readers enjoy the possesiveness of ML and also how he bows his head in front of the MC (until a point when he doesnt anymore and basically ignores FL's rights) but i dont. It just feels stale and mostly unjustified, like the MC was an object he was supposed to have, for granted. Alright, i might have skimmed through plenty of chapters not to know everything perfectly but i still think that this novel isn't really worth your time if you're looking for a good long read. The story got over 100 chapters but the translation is not perfect either so it makes it kinda difficult to cope with the writing of the story in general. Either way, if you wanna give it a try, do it. If you dont wanna try the novel but are still interested in the plot, try the manhwa version. It's not fully translated but I heard the art makes the webtoon worth it.

It's a guilty pleasure novel and i enjoyed it. It's so painfully obviously a self insert it's almost funny. the main leads are given little personality outside their obession with one another and are both increditably beautiful, strong, talented, eta. All those who opose them will be crushed and the main lead is infatuated with the main character to a startling degree.  Also Charlize 100% groomed Dylan, like she was actively manipulating him to become the worst version of himself so he would destroy himself and the country she hated. It gives the romance a pretty toxic tilt, but I didn't start reading this looking for something healthy or wholesome.  It wasn't an amazing story, but it was a fun and somewhat mindless read.
