The novel of the series? Or more or less the same with the MC getting a second chance, being a spear wielder and manage to save his young fellas and avoid the tragedy from his past life.
They both start pretty similar, a low-level soldier reincarnates and now, with his experiences and knowledge from the future, aims to become a monarch. Both have the presence of "magic" one way or the other and even their personalities are quite similar, at the beggining at least. I would say that the biggest differences are, first, one is a manhwa, the other is a novel, and second, their character development and how that affects the world, in I am the monarch, the main character seems more connected to the world and the people he hopes to govern, granted that The Story of a Low-Rank Soldier Becoming a Monarch is still pretty recent and doesn't have much chapters, so we might still get a good character development later on.
Both are about the mc dying without accomplishing anything and waking up in his younger body and working his way up in the army from the lowest rank
Although the execution is a bit different, the main concept is nearly identical, however LRS is much more of a domination story of pure ambition for Chris. Whole ITM is more about seeking the best path for Roan's goal and preventing his own and others mistakes.
Killed on the battlefield without glory to his name, Yuseong Dan receives an opportunity to grow stronger with a strange quest and level system. But each quest he’s forced to fight only seems to be getting harder and harder. Can he level up enough to avoid the same miserable ending and become the powerful hero he wishes to be?

both are traveled to the past as low rankings and built up a new life and a mysterias new system unheard of by others.
Both have similar plots and both are traveled to the past as low rankings. in infinite leveling main character have to do many missons in order to get strong but in low rank solder becoming a monarch main caracter use Artifact's to get strong.
Well the drawing style is similar along with the plot which creates a great connection between these two

In Aeria, a place where people from various worlds are summoned, the weak are destined to die. Lee Sungmin, a talentless mercenary, was no exception. Fortunately for him, a mysterious item he finds before his untimely death sends him back to the past. Now a 13-year-old with a second chance at life, Sungmin begins his desperate journey to become Aeria's strongest with no money or talent. The question is... will effort alone be enough to make a hero of a boy with absolutely nothing?

Both Mc get back in time with regrets, both make friends along the way and finds new meaning to friendship.
I really like how both deal with weakness and self resolve

Simalarities:
Man is good at fighting and ends up leading more and more soldiers, with their goal being reaching the "top"
Leaving only black soot and dead bodies in his wake, Kang Chan, the “God of Blackfield,” struck fear into the hearts of his enemies. But one day, in the chaos of battle, his life was abruptly snuffed out. “I’ve been shot… but the bullet came from behind me!” Revived three years later, this “god” is now a wimpy high schooler with major problems—savage bullies, shady business dealings, and even girls. Revenge seemed like a straight shot, but high school is a battlefield all of its own!

Story of soldiers who died regretful for their shortcomings and being sent back in the past while retaining all their knowledge. Both of these stories have a similar feel because the main characters jump start their way to success by taking advantage of their knowledge of the future. Although God of blackfield is a lot less fantasy and more drama it's still satisfying to see the MCs regain their former glory and beyond

Both MC had died and returned years back.
Both used their knowledge from the previous life they had to get stronger for their own goals. They were technical, cautious, and smart to their approaches, ensuring to not fail nor underestimate the challenges they know they'll encounter.

- Similar worlds dealing with Nobel's and such
- key differences is one is reincarnation into a novel, while this one is regression
- both mcs start off relatively weak, do world-building, and gain strength over time
- ged is more soceital development-oriented, lrsbam is more strength development however each story contains aspects of both
