"Pretentious" is probably the best word to describe this short comic. It's portraying the tragic and senseless deaths of a seagull and a shark, but it's a bit too poetic and "meaningful" in its delivery for my taste. There's a bit of a plot twist in that things aren't as they seem. I don't like the way the two main guys in the story are drawn--they're ugly and flat-chested--but most of the rest of the comic is drawn well.
I feel this story is a deeply touching story about a friendship/love that was cut down before it could flourish. It draws you in to find out what happens next, but you can greatly guess the out come and that let's you let loose a single tear at it. I highly recommend this story.
This is a story of a friendship between a seagull and a fish.
First of all, let me say this: I am not a fan of manhua or manhwa. This one-shot has been on my want-to-read list for sometimes and I almost removed it from my reading list and I am so glad I didn't.
This manhua presented friendship in a very unique way. The concept was very unusual. The characters were amazing.
I would like to talk about something about art though. The sketching of nature and surroundings were beautiful. But the main two characters could've been sketched a little sharply? Especially the jawlines and chin? I don't know. It's my personal opinion. The wrest is just awesome.
If you are a one-shot reader or any kind of reader I highly recommend this one. It will be a miss if you don't. Happy reading.
this is tremendously painful yet beautiful. it has a strong double-message about love and nature. quick and easy to read.
So I tried out reading this shounen ai one shot about a girl who finds a strange looking dude while she's hanging out with friends on a beach. It turns out the strange dude is a seagull and his lover is a shark. To be honest, I didn't have a effin clue wtf was going on lol. As some review said, it is kinda poetic in which I don't normally read but at the same time, the whole story left me astray...
