The Skeleton Soldier Failed to Defend the Dungeon - Reviews

This title started off different and i was enjoying it..from the no name MC to the way he was able to learn through his mistakes but this story take toooooooo long to make you love it..the MC which is a skeleton that was a regular skeleton Solider in a dungeon protecting his lady necromancer up until he failed respawns everytime he is killed at a "save point" as you would say and he uses his failures as knowledge on not to make different choices...the story loses you after this failure keeps happening and the story goes from "somewhat interesting" to "typical blah"...there aren't any real meat and potatoes at the point I stopped reading and I was halfway through chapter wise..just don't waste your time and go read solo leveling lol

No spoilers. A simple skeleton fails to save his original gardian, and because of this he ends up groundhog-daying (see Groundhog Day (movie with Bill Murray)). Through dying and reviving he gains power and experience. There are some funy moments too where the joke is that the mc is a skeleton, I laughed aloud. 

Why it's different: main character does not have a name. He wasn't transported world to world, while there are game elements in his power-aspects there is no references to modern day video games/isekais. It's also a little more bleak and somber than others, the females do not fan service. 

You keep reading in hope a plot will eventually come, but it never does

originally i had avoided it and i cant really remember why but once the whole lockdown thing started i decided to give it a chance and found out this is incredibly good and sooooo worth reading.

It is much better than solo levelling. It is among the top isekai for me, and it only gets better with chapters. The latest villain, priest of boris, comes in ch 140s, and he is my favorite villain. It shows the story is only getting better. And it gives the best comedic character also, a crow.... The art design of crow is really great. Do give it a try.
