Gong Jue has a lot of issues. He's clingy, obsessive, and has a seriously bad sister complex. Now, just to be clear, they aren't actually siblings, but he doesn't know that! I feel frustrated by how he developed. It makes me sad. It should be read for those prepared to feel angry at him and wish that Yimo would do something about it. Their love, if ever mutual, would be toxic, unless he changes. I liked reading it, but don't if you're looking for something light and wholesome; this isn't it. Please, find something better.

I have read approximately  210 chapters of the manhua. If you love any of the following, you will like this manhua: yanderes, reverse harems, drama, OP MC, bishie men. Firstly, all of the women except the MC are cannon fodder villainesses. All the men are in love with the MC. That said, some of the characters are quite interesting and complicated.  I feel for the yandere Crown Prince even though he's a douche. I also like the emperor. He's handsome and has hundreds of concubines. He loves his daughter but can't help wondering if killing her would be in the the best interest of the nation. As for the MC, she has a complicated relationship with the MLs. It all has to do with what they did to her in her previous life. As for her destiny, that's also complicated. It seems like she's supposed to destroy the world, even though she constantly does things to make the world a better place. The ML has destructive tendencies. He's ruthless. Yet, he's devoted to the MC. I love that she's way too OP and that everyone is in love with her-- even though this makes no sense at all. Actually she's kinda a Mary Sue. Nevertheless, it's still a good read. I usually hate the brother/sis complex, but she is adopted. Also the ML becomes less overbearing and clingy over time.  He becomes more of a supporting character. Parts of the story are complicated and confusing. This is because the manhua took an long novel with a complex backstory and cut parts of it out. I've read about half the novel. It's way better. The story compelling, the characters more likeable. It's also 1100+ chapters long and only partially translated. It also discusses incest, which the manhua appears to cut out. So if you don't like any of the above, go with the manhua.
