The Reader and Protagonist Definitely Have to Be in True Love (Novel)

An internet troll who wanted attention, the reader criticized his favorite web novel, saying: “The protagonist is dumb and the author is stupid.” Author: “… Got it.” Unfortunately for him, the author actually listened to his feedback. The formerly lighthearted tale of a cute harem master suddenly became super dark and edgy. The reader could only helplessly look on as the the protagonist was abused and betrayed, finally embarking on the road to becoming completely evil. Everything was a mess! After that the reader transmigrated into a strange world. How come the person in front of him looks like the protagonist? Just what is going on?!

This novel was fantastic... although there is one thing that bothered me. If you didn't read, this novel is smut. While that's okay, who wouldn't like a bit of spice, there IS a r*pe scene. I guess it made a plot point of the mc not trusting the ml to be that close again for a while, but the incident happened like... 2 chapters after they did it for the first time.  If you do want to read this, find a list of the smut chapters and keep an eye out for the number related to the dragon arc. Or just read without smut, it's still a really fucking cool story without the heavy romance stuff. Onto the cool things: This is a fantasy bl with knights, magic, monsters, dragons- something I'm so interested in! There are so many callbacks to the og novel-direct mentions of it. This really connects to the fact that our mc is literally a reader! That is his name haha!  A funny reoccurring thing is the mcs pokerface! He has no visual difference to the normal person, but the ML ends up taking note of every little difference in his love's face.  At points in the novel Du Ze(mc) has to ride on multiple mounts: weaker type of dragon, and a unicorn- all of which are terrified of him. A character mentions how he may be a dragon considering how terrified animals are of him, which made ME lose my rationality and be in awe, when it wouldn't make sense for him to be, he's just from another world. God At some point, our two learn that Du Ze is a "Saintess" of sorts who was called to kill the ML, by God who is afraid to die. But by no surprise, Du Ze refuses and the big bad villain is officially God, himself. On the battle to defeat God, Du Ze learns that he'll return to his world when God dies- leaving the ML on his own- which we see referenced when the mc and ML go through that black space in the beginning of the story(the dome or smth that Du Ze opens to flee someone). They beat God, who took on the form of Du Ze, and he returned to his world. After returning, he begins writing on the author's page in anger, but ultimately seeing *his* face in the computer's reflection. The ML had been asking people in Du Ze's world about him through their dreams(even tho they dont question it). They then rewrite the story and call it "The Reader and Protagonist Definitely Have to Be in True Love"! After that, even more spice!!! A big recommendation! I'm even going to reread it after posting this review^^ "That person is always like this, always watching everything but never getting involved. Almost like … God. …… If that man is God. He wants to commit blasphemy."
