Kawashimiku Kawashimiku says...

They are almost the same - person who is well but then through a dangerous situation gets power that is at the begging weak but then super strong. Also both of their mothers are sick with an uncureable disease. And other stuff are same aswell

PascalTheCurator PascalTheCurator says...

The weakest character gains a unique trait which allows them to grow at an alarming rate, as well as having access to unique abilities like controlling monsters. In Solo Leveling the MC gets stronger faster, but both follow similar paths, and both are quite good.

fangirlingsuzanne fangirlingsuzanne says...

Both stories started from the weakest to the strongest. SSS-Clsss Revival Hunter is about immortality and ability to copy skill. Meanwhile, The Player That Can't Level Up is being a level 1 player, but he is able to use weapons or items that could level up and obtain skills after defeating the guardian or boss the floor. Thus, both story is about having that cheat-like skill that could obtain more skill than average.

TheFluffyMoose TheFluffyMoose says...

Both manga star a main character that, in the beginning, is incredibly weak. However, do to gaining a unique ability both characters are able to rapidly grow in strength. Because of this we get to see both the characters quickly rising through the ranks. Soon their names start becoming world wide as they become stronger.

Enjoy those stories about sentient items that help the MC as they learn about themselves. It can be a little more interesting to overpower a character an MC who doesn't need anyone. The sentient item can add an extra level of development.
