The Pain of Living in a Male Body - Reviews

This manga is short and sweet. You can buy it for roughly $6 and easily finish it in under 15 minutes, but I think there are some things that make it worth it. While I was reading this manga, I noticed myself constantly making odd reaction noises to what I was reading, which I think speaks for how relatable the experiences are and how well the main characters were written. The story was okay, but it was the details and moments that weren't a part of the plot that really made this manga worth it.

Personally I loved it and it's probably my favorite or second favorite animes/manga with a trans protagonist.

Pros:

• Has good and acurate trans representation
• Gets you in the feels, esspecially if you're a trans woman
• Has a more meaningful take by portraying harsh realities
• Includes some awe-inspiring experiences

Cons:

• The story has 2 or 3 minor cliches
