It's got kind of the same vibe and is just as easy and straightforward to read.  Just like in a business proposal, they meet once and the ml tries to get the fl to marry him.

Briebie Briebie says...

They're both the exact same formula just written slightly differently with different art. So, if you like one of the stories you're bound to like the other.

MichiValley MichiValley says...

A random, normal person goes to do something out of their confort zone and ends up in kahoots with a Hot CEO without meaning to. Hot CEO falls for the girl and pursues her with the intention to get married. It's a wild goose chase with a bunch of twist and turns. Whats not to love?!

Alezandra Alezandra says...

Although not showing a boss-employee relationship per se. Both shows a difference in social status. Both MLs are overtly sweet on their leading ladies.

The main difference is that Positively Yours had a rocky beginning with her going on a one-night stand that has garnered a "positive" result.

It still has similar vibes and feel good happy endings.

NoelleSasaki NoelleSasaki says...

They both center around romances between a CEO and one of their employees. The characters and storylines are very different though, so it's definitely worth it to read both!

Iiuvia Iiuvia says...

Not like the normal Chinese CEO type story. The heartwarming, adorable love story. Stories like THE BUSINESS PROPOSAL, POSITIVELY YOURS, SURELY A HAPPY ENDING, MARRY MY HUSBAND, SECRATRY OUT-OF-ORDER, WHATS WRONG WITH SECRATRY KIM MI SO, LULLABY, SAVE UT FOR HONEYMOON are the best kind of CEO story you will ever find. They are freakingly good. Please read it. You won't regret it.

SnowField SnowField says...

It's on a very similar theme of a rich guy getting in a healthy relationship with a normal girl. And the formal starting of their relationship is very opposite with their loving happy ever after. There's also almost none of the usual misunderstandings.

konekonana konekonana says...

similar in that a normal type employee gets the attention of a big name CEO. the main difference is that the relationship formed from a one night stand and a positive test, which the ML wanted to take full responsibility for (which is a major plus in my book) and tries to get the FL to marry him.

Both office workers who are secretaries with a secret getting involved with their boss, typically the CEO! Similar plots, and characters, I think that they're both cute mangas to read during the afternoon!

Both female main characters are employees who get entangled with the CEOs of the company they work for.

Pilgrim3 Pilgrim3 says...

Both have the boss and employee setup. They both have comedy and awesome characters. What's Wrong With Secretary Kim was a bit darker and less light-hearted than A Business Proposal. However, both are super fluffy!

Alezandra Alezandra says...

It both has a boss-employee relationship. It got developed over time.  Both not over dramatic and complicated. Both FLs are independent in their own way.

Grizz Grizz says...

If you liked this, you'd definitely like this, both feature CEO - Employee relationships that progress without too much fuss.

Both are workplace romances where the FL is super competent and works under the ML. Both have type a, driven, "I'm not interested in marriage/dating"type MLs. FLs are pretty different though.

The art and coloring remind me of Business Proposal's art. The FLs and MLs also look similar. Both manhwa have buffy MLs. Both MLs are rich and posed as "the perfect guy" while FLs have similar personality. Who knows, maybe Daytime Star will be adapted to Kdrama too one day?
