They both have the same themes. They are both fantasy-themed and both have the main characters be once part of an extremely powerful guild but somehow gets stuck in a different universe that is somehow related to the game they were in. Both of the main characters are also very OP. Also recommending you read the light novels because of the quicker and regular updates and more chapters.

Both protagonists save the world, only to be sent backward or forward in time. Both contain many game elements(one takes placein a game, the other in a gamelike world). Beyond that, they have very different tones, one being fairly light hearted, the other a bit dark.

The New Gate and World Customize Creator are similar in many ways. The main character of both stories are trapped in a fantasy world, each wielding game-like power. Each are on an adventure to find out what happened to them and why they are stuck in the fantasy realm (though The New Gate "stuck-in-a-fantasy-real " mystery is solved early on in the story). Each with an exiting tale to tell, one right after another. The main characters of both manga are quite similar in personality and thinking (not going into details), with the desire to change the world they are in for the better and while looking for a way home. Each story will have you wanting to know what happens next (as both are still in the process of being written).

Both manga focus on guys who get transported into a fantasy universe similar to a game that they used to play. Both protagonists get along well with non-humans (demi-humans, elves, etc) and are overpowered compared to the other characters in the series. Both series have serious moments and themes, but are also pretty comedic.

Both have protagonists who end up trapped in a game like world. Both protaonists start out strong, but don't realize how strong they are in comparison to everyone else until a bit later. They have a simular feel to them, and both protagonists conceal how strong they are to avoid attention.

Her name was Lufasu Mafaalu, a great woman dreaded as the Black-Winged Overlord. She was too strong, too fast, and too beautiful. However, she was defeated by Heroes who opposed her ferocity, and her ambition was brought to an end. Or so went the story of our protagonist’s in-game character, whose body he now possesses for some reason in a world 200 years after Lufasu’s downfall. Follow our protagonist as he becomes unnecessarily feared by his surroundings and unnecessarily worshiped by his former subordinates as he―or now she―cheerfully travels around this fantasy world.
