*Read until chapter 82 at the point of writing this*
Having reached this point while reading this, it's shown oddly often how most of the sect leaders just keep throwing their diciples to their deaths without a second thought, and that the same leaders would also try to get disciples, who are only acting on their orders to complete a sect mission, killed for completing said missions. Not only that, but the elders also imprison those disciples that refuse to participate in said suicidal missions, and throw them in to do them anyway. I do not know why anyone would want to join sects with this being the case. Then later, when trying to enter a cave to save a fellow disciple, for some reason the MC needs a fucking mission to enter in the cave like he didn't go there with the intent to save somebody. So fucking nonsensical. The only reason I'm writing this is because I'm so damn baffled by the fact. How can this many characers be this malicious? Is this what is necessary to become an immortal in this manwha?
Why do manhua artists think that using stupid comedy make a story interesting? It seems to me that whenever a novel becomes popular, some studios pick it up and turn it into a story for 12 yo. Every time I see a manhua with a goofy mc and stupid characters I check the novel and sure enough they are totally different. I'm pretty sure that if the goofiness was toned down and the characters a bit more mature the cultivation manhua would be very popular. Everyone who read the novel for "Release that witch" and "Hail the king" would tall you how amazing and profound they are but their manhua counterparts is pure shit. It's really annoying.
Anyway this manhua is boring. The mc is an annoying little dickhead. He only knows to play around and ask stupid questions. Some side characters are even more interesting than him. I'd have dropped this long ago if I wasn't such a sucker for these type of stories.
