The Legendary Dragon-armored Knight Wants to Live a Normal Life In the Countryside

These stories that involve a hyper-powerful person trying to settle down and live a peaceful, leisurely life but inevitably getting pulled into conflicts and contributing to society through combat are honestly kinda tragic, if you think about it. ‘Cause they subtly imply that the person is only really suited to perpetually being in conflict. Like, imagine a story where someone's abilities and skills which were originally intended for combat were creatively reimagined to help out with mundane daily tasks--that would be the type of story where the person's background was still relevant, but where fe wasn't just portrayed as a combat engine. There are a few lines here and there which seem to reference knowledge about another world (e.g. "I decided to make a dish from another world," ch. 5), but I don't believe it was ever explicitly said that other worlds exist or that any particular character has connections to another world. There's also a point when Baham talks to some of the villagers and implies that Elm is unaware that Baham is in charge of a bunch of dragons, but later in the story, Baham talks about that ability to Elm as though Elm was aware of it. I guess my point is that this manga seems a bit loose and inconsistent with its worldbuilding.
