The Lazy Swordmaster - Reviews

Honestly after reading these reviews i thought it would be a fun read but what awaited for me was a big overrushed manhua with a lot of plot holes and an mc with a so called overpowered. Sometimes he tries his best to hide his power, and some times he just openly displays his power over no reason.

One time the mc just reveals his power over getting a mug of cola! Yeah you heard it right a mug of cola. This same person hide his power few chapters back when his mother was being poisoned. 

The power distribution in this world is messed up.

A so called mercinery hero who wasn't able to avoid a strick from a three class assassin and getting saved by the mc 😐😐😐.

A so called mc who tells he don't like any loose end and kills every low ranked assassin villains for protecting his peace at one time ,and the same mc who let's  an archmage villain who tourchered and kill many go telling it's for the future peace 😐😐😐. Honestly why?! I think the author was just trying to get ride of the villain of the beginning fast just so he wouldn't have to maintain him in the later stories. 

Honestly it was very hard reading to this point.

Anyways this was from my personal point of view after reading many masterpiece, so my point of view may felt wrong for many but at the same time it may felt right for many. I hope you all wouldn't get offended 😅.

Cringe.

The dialogues looks like it's written for 13 year olds. The OPness of MC is not satisfying. The motives for murder and everything are not clearly defined. It's like people are doing it for shallow reasons.

Also, swordsman family my ass. They can't even detect assassins. They should just kill their whole family.

Story, characters, dialogues all are nonsense, I'm guessing part of it might be the translation, but the main reason seems to be how the author seems to have taken all the information that bridges the events that happen in the manhwa and threw them leaving a disconnected mess as a result. Let's also add annoying characters like Ian (the butler) and lame humor that disrupts the story.
An example, he's the hero of the previous world, a fantasy world, yet he keeps talking about modern age things, like cola, refrigerators, and the like, it seems before he was a hero he was summoned or isekied to be the hero, yet this is not even mentioned, it might also be, that it's a modern fantasy world, either way, we don't know. Or how he shows his powers to others because he wants to drink coke when he's been trying since birth to hide them. And something similar happens with every aspect of the story, the MC is ruthless some times, benevolent others, intelligent then dumb, decisive them not and so on.
Also, the art is not particularly good, the fights are rather lame.
It's in short a mess, maybe the novel is worth it but this is not worth the time imo.

I think this Manga is overall a 10 because of its plot about the mc getting reincarnated into a boy, in the past life he used to be a warrior but not only that, he seems to hate using a sword which causes him to be lazy and not practice with his sword even though his whole family is about swords and becoming a swordmaster. (he's really good at handling swords)

The main character gets isekaied into abother fantasy world after he kills the demon king of his world. He has super overpowered sword skills but he hides it from everyond and tries to live and normal life. 

This story of this manhwa is quite good. Art is also good and fight scenes are portrayed very well. The characters are written very well and they feel like a part of this world. The personality of the main character is very likeable. He is totally ruthless when he is needed to be.
