Kim Roksu has one life motto: “Let’s not get beat up.” But after dozing off somewhere midway through the novel “Birth of a Hero,” he wakes up as Cale Henituse - one of the minor villains in the novel who gets the beating of a lifetime from soon-to-be hero Choi Han. Only time will tell how much longer he has before that dreadful encounter. Can Kim Roksu change the course of this story so he can enjoy a long and lavish life free of the soon-to-be hero?

In both manhwas, we have 2 reincarnated people who become the "trash" of their families. In both manhwas, we can follow the development of the MCs from trash to god like.
both ML's were born as trashy characters in a novel.
they were both able to fix their reputation and and have a somewhat friendship with the Main characters of the novel that they recarinated into.
Both mc have a similar personality, very funny,.......................,............................
Both are my most favorite manhwas EVER (and I've read over 200). And both are VERY funny (estate dev is better in my opinion but both still amazing)
A cheap practical protagonist who puts their bottom dollar first in all plans and schemes they come up with. Cale is stone faced with his scheming and playing the role while Lloyd doesn't fail to show the reader his inner devil.
generic minor trash character taken over by isekai protagonist, proceeds to steal the main character's spotlight and become pure benevolence, even if they like to pretend it's for their own personal gain. it's not. it never is.
both mcs are reincarnated into trash charaacters and use their knowledge to 'redeem' themselves, though redemption isn't either of their main proirites. they're both cunning and selfish to different degrees and like to work their way around characters to get their desired result.
Their very similar stories, both inhabit a side character with a horrible personality that they change so they can live a comfortable life without problems while facing all the main problems of the story. Honestly their both pretty funny and captivating while having animal children with special abilities.
I understand why this manga both so similar after reading it
Similarity:
-both noble son
-have trashy reputation and behavior
-use "trash" to their benefit
-have cute animals (>0<)
-have mc who sword master
- smart / anathical / calculative / manipulative
- take responsibility toward "their" people
-medieval era
-isekai into novel
-use their knowledge from noel to acquire any easy skill for survival
-accidently, become strong intheir way to survival and easy life
Differences:
- engineer in GED / strategist in ToCF
-work out in GED / don't want to work out in ToCF
- have like game notication in GED / none in ToCF
-I think llyord have more evil smile than cale / cale have more like his sinister signature smile
-MC in GED more expressive while MC in ToCF is stoic
I can't think anymore differences but maybe as I reading I will see more
If you like The Greatest Estate Developer, then you would definitely like this because both Manhwa's have MC's that transmigrated into a novel and into the body of a less-than-appealing character, and are both trying to get rid of their death flags. Both MC's also have a certain love for money that borders on the line fanatical obsession.
In the greatest estate developer the main character is exactly like the other but not that beautiful. I liked this one very much story and are good but the comedy is outstanding, it's one of the best comedy manhwa I've ever seen. Also the main character has a unique attitude and the he make use of his modern knowledge to change his county. Totally worth reading
Both wants a peaceful luxury life that they doesn't need to work hard to. Just a little cough of a blood, saving the continent, defeating the villains and gain a loving supporters. Yeah, they did nothing much and in the end they got what they WAntED.
Highly Reccommend, the MC is not Absurdly Powerful but has a an Absurd Charisma and Intelligence and Maybe Vitality and Agility now? Oops Spoilers hehe, Anyways this is a great Substitute from The Greatest Estate Developer, 9/10 Highly reccommend since the MC is not strong but his Allies are
Similar concepts, love both books.
A modern-day engineer is transmigrated to a different world... where he becomes a prince. His surroundings remind him of medieval Europe, but it's not quite the same. In this world, witches actually exist, and they have real magic powers! Magic powers... that can be used as a productive force! The witches must be saved. Their powers must be liberated! We must open our map, fight off demons, solve the conspiracy, and climb the tree of technology!

Both MC are reincarnated in medvial world.
Both MC are developing they "city" with knowladge from they previous life.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Similar themes: transmigration + kingdom building + business men.
Differences: RTW ML is royalty and has a harem-ish, while TGED is nobility (not royalty), no love interest (as of Ch 70), and has a funny/ wonderful bromance btw ML and Second ML.
I feel like it's almost garaunteed that if you like one, you'll like the other, unless some of the differences I mentioned above are deal breakers. Still give the other a try if you can.
I will not reccommend reading this if you came from The Greatest Estate Developer, the pacing is inconsistent the way that there's too much talking making it a slow story then suddenly the machinery is already built then doing nothing about it for another 5 chapters or so, I'm not saying it's bad but It's definitely not worthy of the "Engineer MC" genre if there is one. If you want to read this then it'll prolly because the MC is a Prince that has a Harem of Withces.
Dawoon's ordinary life is turned upside down when he is summoned into the Dungeon, where he must play a deadly game, outlasting dangerous monsters and life-threatening traps. To make matters worse, he's only a mere crafter with zero combat abilities. But after Dawoon falls into a trap and survives after a glitched reset, he's gained random but oddly helpful skills. He'll need to get creative to clear the game and return home, with a bloodthirsty assistant and an adorable ground squirrel along for the ride. Now that the rules no longer apply to him, what possibilities await in the tunnels below?

Both MCs are builders and can create lots of modern day stuff from scratch. They are both really good manhwas.
i agree i agree
Both involve the main character gaining achievements through their actions and becoming ridiculously and hilariously OP. Both simply follow their desires (e.g. money or food) and it leads them to greatness, rather than seeking out greatness.
both series are funny and focuses on building things. both MCs just wanna do stuff that they wanna do. something i'd recommend if they want a funny and relaxing read.
It starts with a mountain. A strategic leader gets isekai-ed into a war dynasty. He only has a group of members who were planning to ditch him. Facing this war era, he thinks of stealing food and girls to live a king’s life. He is hot-blooded, picks fights with war heroes. How will he bring chaos to the war? Will he be able to rise up high?

Both MC are reincarnated in novel what's they readed leastly.
Both MC doing what they can to develop person in withch they are reincarnated also avoid death from Novel they read.
In both are RPG elemnts (skills, exp, etc).
Both MC get's isekaied in the web novel they were reading. Both are smart and make use of the known future quite nicely.
It's good, both MC started as the trash/good for nothing family member then rose their reputation by pleasing their underlings and parents. give it a try altough there's really no world building in this manwha
When a gamer and homebody starts the buff for traveling through time and space, he certainly chooses to make waves! Make waves! And make waves! Domineering cat lady, Lori fox lady, Girly rabbit lady…This is not a Zoo! This is a fantastic Another World under the rule of the law of the jungle! In a real strategic game and a huge conspiracy crisis, the Overlord of Another World is emerging, with the rest nothing but losers…

both of them use modern knowdlege to develop their lands, both focus on rebuilding a deadbeat village into a great place. The difference is that state developer focus on the engineering as well as some fighting, while castellan focuses on inventions in general as well as some fighting.
Don't read unless you want a perverted incompetent MC, it's good if ONLY the MC is not PERVERTED and INCOMPTENTE like the first few chapters all i see is he can't read the atmosphere and almost got killed, for some reason the beastwoman became his sort of friend just by eating something the MC gives then when she wants to go at first he agrees then he later persuades her to heal first and go out later then he proceeded to peep on her while bathing like how am I supposed to read something stupid like this it's like it was made by a a 15 years old. this manhwa is not worthy to be substitute for The Greatest Estate Developer.
Exciting contents ahead! I’m cohabiting with my demon queen!

There's a lot of similarities between these two but I'mma narrow it down the best I can, also I'mma try not to ramble too much about how much I adore these two, so let's just get into it. (Potential spoilers btw)
Both got unwillingly trapped in a alternate world and have to use there prior knowledge to help adapt to there current situation, main difference is that it's engineering not spearing (although they have a similar fighting-style? Eh).
Both get trapped in a bastards sons body and have to restore there reputation, also both have a duel with a pretentious asshole at the beginning of the manga? Weird concidence but whatever.
Both of the mcs have similar personality's, also having a tendency to pull faces ranging from funny as hell to damn near demonic depending on the situation, especially The Greatest Estate Developer, just look up one of Lyolds faces and you'll understand.
Also both mcs prior to there alternate world adventures lived a pretty depressing life, having to struggle to get food on the table and such, makes them relatable, also makes you feel real good when they achieve something which is nice aswell.
but hands down the best thing about these manga are the different sets of fun characters and the way they interact with each-other, Lyold and Javier having the most fun dynamic I've read in a while, same goes to Murim Logic especially when it comes to the brothers relationship.
The main thing I'm trying to say is there amazing mangas, both funny as hell but serious when it needs to be, I HIGHLY recommend you read them both, you surely won't regret it and hey you might even become as obsessed as I am with both of them.
It's a good sbstitute if you're willing to endure this idiotic MC for a few chapters, it only gets good when he decided to return to the world of Murin.
Sit back and take in this romantic tale of an angelic heroine and her devoted suitors as they vie for the depths of her love... or not. This story’s about to go through some edits! After an accident, a modern-day college student awakens as the story’s villainess, Melissa Foddebrat. She’s far from anyone’s favorite, but she IS the daughter of the duke. Determined to live it up, this new Melissa is doing things her way — antiquated society, be damned! All idiots, prepare to step aside or perish!

Why you ask? Becase both
- MCs have exagerated expressions
- are cunning and always plotting something for their own benefits
- of their servant are used to their antiques and have their own comical effects on the readers
The storylines have a similar fun vibe going on. Both the main characters are very similar and they are a mood. I can't explain, but I think they're very similar.
