Following the trauma of a studying-induced death, Jinny is reborn into a fantastical realm filled with magic, orcs, and talking spirits. As Geenie Crowell, the daughter of a noble and a bona fide genius, everyone has big plans for her, including her new parents, teachers, and even the king! Not too keen on all these high expectations that might end badly for her again, Geenie thinks up the perfect way out from slaving over a hot magic wand: if she becomes a summoner, she'll be able to summon a spirit and have them do all the work! But Geenie will soon learn that there’s more to it all than just adorable spirit companions and collecting mana. Being a summoner comes with great responsibility–and dangerous consequences as well.
The story is good but as I read more chapters I started getting really annoyed with the MC. She's such a lazy, ungrateful person. Someone that millions of people would die to be in the position of and, she just wastes everything. It really upset me that someone of her background couldn't understand the value for hard work and dedication. Also, I didn't like how she treated her spirits, yet another example of her arrogance and ungratefulness. I tried to not judge her too much for her personality because i appreactiaed that she had a personality and wasn't a Mary Sue but I just couldn't stand how unappreciative she was fo Ray. Update: The story is really good but as of chapter 43 I officially can not deal with this witch anymore
This story is hard to understand at times, but the main idea of the plot stands strong with me and I'm willing to continue reading as I feel like the story could become stronger. The first couple of chapters of the story were the most interesting as she came to understand what an Elementalist was and began her path towards that goal. Her character can be annoying at times and she isn't really a good person, but I feel like that could be a part of the progression of the story. Overall, this still has potential and I'm excited to see where the plot will take us.
Story: Way too rushed, I don't understand crap and it's annoying. Art: After her death, she reincarnates and the art becomes so flashy. My eyes have become sensitive to such an art style, so no. Too bright. Characters: I know that I shouldn't judge people from their appearance but the MC looks like a total b*tch. It bothers me that she lowkey looks like a villainous (honestly, in all those otome game mangas I've never thought they looked evil). And the character personalities seem so fake and forced. Overall: This manga just isn't my cup of tea.
