The plot is entirely “Oh no, my failed suicide attempt put me in a sexist world and I’m somehow no longer suicidal or even seem to have issues unless it’s a tragic backstory moment for drama” and also “Oh woe is me, I’m OP with an OP background and the hot guy I’m destined to be with is also OP” basically.  Every time there’s an issue, instead of trying to learn or figure things out herselg, she just falters and then someone fixes it for her before she has time to worry about it.  (Example: I’m confused, I wonder what that means? -cue brand new temporary character coming in “you look confused, let me help you for no reason”) She’s a useless damsel. Also, they say ‘witch’ but they’re all big bulky pointy eared demons, not human, so there’s that too.  Honestly, there’s no plot relevance to everyone having ears like that, it just makes me think the author had a fetish.  The art is a bit below average for a modern webtoon, sometimes the features are distorted and just look comically awful.  (Overly long necks, misplaced boobs, random yaoi hands bigger than heads, etc.)  The only thing keeping me reading is curiosity and the fact that while it’s not good, it isn’t intensely off-putting and bad.  At least the love interest isn’t an asshole or ugly or anything.  And I just have a lot of time on my hands at the moment, and it’s new content.  But I wouldn’t earnestly recommend it to anyone.

I read this because the most recent reviews said the story was ok but I personally thought it was worse than ok LOL. Storyline: Mediocre writing that's very cliche and predictable. It's a typical storyline of a girl who is set up to be the "chosen one." Everything falls nicely in place because of "fate" and there's no real development in the characters. In addition, the conflicts in the story aren't "heart-racing conflicts" and are very disapointing because the conflicts are either swept under the rug or they're resolved too quickly. Now I'm all for fast conflict resolution but this story literally zips through them to the point where I have to ask why the author even included it in the first place. And this doesn't just happen one or two times, it's throughout the entire duration of the storyline. It makes the piece feel extremely rushed and I grew little to no attachment to anyone because everything felt so forced and shallow.  Characters: FL: If you're looking for a strong FL, you're absolutely not going to get this here. She is extremely lack luster in every way which is EXTREMELY disappointing considering the fact that they built her up to be the "strongest mage to have appeared in the last 50 years." This premise was ok in the beginning because it made sense considering her background. But going further into the story her inability to take action for herself was infuriating. She will be protected by everyone and that's all she basically does. SPOILER: what really got me at the end was in the final boss scene, she didn't do anything until after basically all her close acquaintances died protecting her. It was maddening because in some panels the author made it seem like she would finally do something but she never does until literally everyone around her gets stabbed. Also her reaction to everything literally dying around her was so underwhelming. I was bashing my head on the wall at this point. SPOILER END. ML: He's your typical demon king. I had no real attachment to him because his personality was that of a typical strong man in love. There was nothing in particular that he did that will make him stand out in my personal mental file of manhwa MLs.  Antagonists: I don't remember anything about the antagonists because their role in the story was so stupid and underwhelming. There are multiple antagonists but most of them are inconsequential and the main boss is just a braindead stock character that is only there to make the main characters look good. There wasn't enough development in the plot to create a good premise for conflict.  Art: It's alright, what you see in the beginning is what you get at the end.  Would I recommend? Out of all the manhwa I've read, this is the one story that I honestly wouldn't recommend anyone to waste their time on. If you want a braindead piece (and I mean an ULTRA brain dead piece with a plotline that is extremely mediocre) then I guess you can read this? But even then, this is piece should be the absolute last resort. Like you went through all manhwas in existence and now this is the only one you have available to read. But if you're looking for a decent read, this is not for you. I'm most definitely going to forget about this piece as fast as I tried to get through it just for the sake of getting through it.

It an Ok story, i would consider this one of those stories to read just to kill time, this story is very in your face as the plot its very simplistic. the Female lead may rub some people the wrong way, im personally ok with her. She doesnt show much emotion and i think thats ok, she is someone who killed themselves in their previus life we can asume she suffers from depresion, this in some way could explain her lack of attention to certain things or how she brushes off some situations. Most FL I have read are fighting for survival while this one is just doing her thing.
