If you're looking for manga similar to The Fantasie of a Stepmother, you might like these titles.
Hari got adopted by Duke Erenst at 7 years old when she lost her mother. Even though she received all kinds of persecution by the three Erenst sons, she could finally escape that blood-and-tear inducing life when she was about to get married. But what is this? When I woke up from my sleep, I'm back to that hellish childhood! Is this a dream?! Hmph. If I can't wake up from this dream, I'll at least live without too much consideration for others now! Just like that, Hari decided to go astray.
Both have the striking similarity of taking care of family members if you liked one you will most likely like the other one as well.
Both mc's have reincarnated into the past and want to change their future, they also both have a sad past, in which they are ignored/bullied by their "family".
Both female main characters had a hard time with their step family. Traveling back to the past, both characters now have the chance to improve their relationship with their step familes.
Both brought into a family where they face hardship with existing family members. both main character travels back in time
both relive the time line and got closer to the family
Ive read both and they are both really good theres others too that have very good concepts as well which are similar
Although the MCs in these series are different in term of their positions in the households, they share many similar elements in both stories. Both stories revolve around three male siblings and a female outsider who are the MCs that have been return to the past for a chance to get closer to their families. In BOTB the MC is the youngest sister, while the MC in ASM is the stepmother (but she's around the same age range as the eldest sibling). After the passing of the siblings' biological parents, the person who's the next in line took over as the head of the family (the stepmother in ASM and eldest son in BOTB). But due to their young age, the family's relatives (represent by an aunt) tried to scheme their ways into having them hand over his position by manipulating the other younger siblings instead. In the end, both MCs successfully changed the past's outcomes and get accepted by the three siblings.
The start of the story is similar: just when the female lead character was almost got the feeling of freedom from her not-blood-related household, she suddenly got transferred back several years before, into her younger body while keeping previous memories. The previous relationship with the family members, was not bad like in hate, but not really harmonius either. Some because of the not-blood related thing, and some because of miscommunication/misunderstanding. Both stories tell on how all of the family members have worked out on it, so both have strong family vibe with its nobility atmosphere. So far, I've read 40+ chapters of both stories.
Time travel + problems to have vappy family for someone form outside (step-sister / step-mother).
Both mc are taken in by a rich noble as either their fake lover or as their daughter and they try to their best to establish good relations with the other family members
Calliope has suffered through nature's law and many accidents. Her family was murdered and an ongoing war ended her life, but she traveled back in time to when she was born?! While Calliope slowly grows, will she be able to figure out who killed her family and stop them in time?
Both stories are about a female protagonist that has been reborn and making their life better. Both stories are in the same era .
Both stories are about female protagonists who go through a terrible life, and meet a terrible end at an early age. Then get shoved back in time in their same life and can make new decisions that impact the future and how their family treats them.
its wholesome. Period. Both are about a girl who reincarnated and tries to save the family. They both realize that their family loves them despite how "coldly" they treated the mc in their past lives. If anything im really picky about art, but both of these manwhas satisfies that! The only big difference is that lady baby is slow paced while a stepmothers marchen is faster :)
Lady baby is a great Manhwa. It's a bit Mary Sue, and very unrealistic for a "real" five-year-old to act like Lippe, but since it's an unreal setting + it's a manhwa, I think it's fine. Anyway, Lippe has an absolute lovely personality and appearance, actually, her whole family has a cute personality when it comes to Lippe, and they all have outstanding appearances. The art style is amazing, so is the story line as well.
We all know the fairytale: the glass slipper, the not-so-pretty stepsisters, and a night with the prince until the clock strikes midnight. I have been reincarnated into that classic story, not as Cinderella, but as her “wicked” stepmother! Widowed twice by age 37 and with three daughters, my goal is to make sure all will have suitable partners and their own happily ever afters... and maybe a nice future for me as well! But who is this handsome young baron that keeps approaching me?
They're both wonderful stories with the MC as the mother of children of the family she married into. The ML falls in love with the MC (mother) and both stories are very engaging with a wonderful storyline.
If you've not read this, I highly recommend it!!!!
Both FLs are young widows who have to raise the children by themselves. They have memories of their past lives, so they use that knowledge to the best of their abilities to help their families survive/have better ending. Despite having little to no intention to remarry and find their own happiness, they encounter MLs in the process.
Both MCs are young widows and mothers, striving to raised three children the best way they could.
Summoned into her favorite novel as the infamous Duchess Roselia Chade, Haena is bathed in riches, power, and a family of her own. Life couldn’t be better, save for the small detail that her beloved stepson, Einspanner Chade, is also the evil mastermind destined to kill her. At this point in the story Ein is still just an adorable child yet to reach his cruel awakening, and so Roselia is determined to stop him from becoming a ruthless killer. But with the duke getting in her way and trying to poison his own son, safely raising a child that was primed for villainy may prove harder than she originally thought. The survival of both mother and child depends on whether Roselia can successfully rewrite their tragic ending.
The FLs in both series get transmigrated into the novels and becomes stepmothers who were cold and indifference toward their stepsons and are destined to die by them. To change their tragic fates, they step up their games by providing motherly love and changed their perceptions of the stepmothers. The change surprised the stepsons and they eventually come to love her as their mothers.
The motherly stepmom vibe is the same. While in "A Stepmother's Marchen", the female lead got a second chance by time-traveling back several years into her younger self, in "I Became the Villain's Mother" the female lead went into a novel as a stepmom.
Both stepmoms love their families dearly and sincerely and there are many scenes in both stories to potray this. Both also in a duke family, with the relationship with its crown prince. So far, I've read 40+ chapters for A Stepmother's Marchen and 30+ for I Became the Villain's Mother.
Spunky mercenary mage Priscilla Mortia sets out on her final mission: to reclaim the last 15 years of her tragic life. Using a mana stone called the Dragon Heart, she travels back in time to when her family ruled over the land. While Priscilla’s goal is to reawaken her magical powers by obtaining the Dragon Heart in the past, she must survive the sinister plots of her wicked stepmother and her elderly fiance. To aid in her quest she seeks out Kian Lustin, a renowned swordsman who once captured her heart. But why does their fateful first meeting seem strangely familiar? Can Priscilla finally gain Kian's allegiance and claim her rightful seat as the heir to House Mortia?
This manhwa has a beautiful art style. The female main character lived a miserable life, but reincarnated and decides to live their new life as good as possible, with the knowledge of her previous life. It's refreshing to see heer able to grow stronger and able to stand up against enemies she did not dare to stand up to in her previous life. She also have a great personalitie, she is kind, do not give up and have a beautiful smile. :)
Liandro was stricken with a hideous curse at a young age, shunned by his family and rejected by the only people he ever loved. As the supporting character in a novel, he’s doomed to a role of misery and loneliness. That is, until a sympathetic reader is suddenly transported into this fictional world as his lowly maid, determined to change his fate! Can Evelina break Liandro free of his wretched destiny and help him find true love after all?
I believe both of these mangas are quite similar. The Stepmother's marchen follows a young lady who's ended up caring for lots of children who are old enough to be her siblings and at the same time knows the future. The story of how I became a Duke's maid is similar in the sense that the FL starts off looking after a young boy who's not old enough to be her boyfriend and she raises him. If you liked either of them, you would definitely like the other!
Adele was a hapless orphan until a duke gave her a choice: live as a substitute for his dead daughter, or die on the streets. Despite playing this role to the best of her ability, an order for her assassination was given shortly after he married her off. Miraculously, she is sent back in time and decides to make up for the years wasted living a lie. As ancient ruins call to her, can she use her past knowledge and unexpected help from the Black Knight to defeat the dangers ahead and change fate?
Arcella, who lived a glorious life that everyone envied but died of illness at a young age. Before her death, she regretted not having become a proper mother to her son. But somehow, she went back three years ago. Arcella is living her second life. I promise to be a loving mother this time. However, is it too late? The son only pushes her away and she realises that her relationship with the husband, who she thought was fine before her regression, was wrong...
I’m Jubelian? The daughter of the duke and the villainess of this novel? I managed to avoid my death with some previous knowledge about my life. Now, I should be able to live in peace! “I’m not going to marry a man unless he has everything. I want the most wealthy, famous, and competent man there is.” But my father tells me the Crown Prince who is known to be a lunatic is to be my husband! As an extraordinary measure, I couldn’t help but start a contract relationship with a handsome side character that looks better than the main one. “Why are you trying to avoid being engaged to the prince?” “He’s scary. I heard that he even kills his own entourage if he doesn’t like them.” A few days later, the prince sent a terrible letter to me. “I will not kill you.” Oh no, did I set up another death trap for myself?
The back stories of both MC's are fairly similar: the back story of The Fantasie of a Stepmother is that she dies because she beloved her family didn´t love her (in this case her adoptive children) and is reborn.
They do act different, because the main goal of Daddy, I Don't Want to Marry! is to survive, while the MC of The Fantasie of a Stepmother wants to take care of her children and be loved by them. So if that's the thing you liked the most of Daddy, I Don't Want to Marry!, then I wouldn´t recommend it.
Otherwise, you should check it out because I really liked it :)
