An easy 10/10. Holy shit did this absolutely DELIVER. From beginning to end, there was not a single moment where I felt disappointed or bored. For a psychological horror story, The Black Mirror had me on the edge of my seat for the whole ride. It was gritty and sinister and shrouded in mystery.

The plot was absolutely phenomenal. So many great ideas and themes present (e.g. malice, hidden desires, human nature, etc.); all executed wonderfully. All the tiny little details really took effect and were able to heighten the atmosphere, like all the little tapping or screeching noises throughout the drawings. Before you know it, you're immersed into this imposing dark mansion full of mirrors, just like Jun, the MC is.

Along with Jun (who is such a great character ESPECIALLY for a horror manhwa), we tread through this story uncovering more and more about the past, Yeon Woo, the hallucinations, and the "evaporating" murder cases. Looking back, there seem to be a lot of different things going on in the plot, and yet the author was able to so skillfully set the pace in order for the story to just flow effortlessly through each panel.

In the end, we are left with this fucked up (in the best way possible) resolution to Jun and Yeon Woo's story. It's perfectly imperfect because that is exactly what the characters are. After exposing both of Jun and Yeon Woo's psyche and "hidden natures," this kind of "not really a happy end but still a happy end for them" just seems so...faithful to who they are.

Extra points also include the absolutely stunning artwork and incredibly complex cast of characters.

A horror manhwa that has genuinely frightened me. Most psychological BL is all sex & no plot but this one's intriguing.

If you are an old reader on this genre (yaoi) I think this would be of your interest. Lately I have had kind of a hard time finding a story that gets me hook, but this one definetily did. From the first chapter it lures you in with the uncertanty whats going on. Its a psycological thriller that revolves around a mystery. It has to do with the supernatural and trauma (mostly childhood trauma).I'm not gonna lie, some lf the aspects even remind me a tiny bit of Stephen Kings storys. Is a dark and creppy story that deals with a twisted, toxic couple but moslty focus in the development of the main character. Throughout the story you see how different situations and personas change ans mold the mains charcaters personality into a much grimmer one. All of that being said, I felt like the ending was a little bit flat. I did enjoy very much the suspense around the mystery and seeing the main character "transform" tho. Maybe my anticipation was too high that when they finally reveal it, it was a bit of a let down. But i felt like they way doing such a build up to the whole lore that I was expecting something more. Howere... Don't let that stop you from reading it! Over all is actually an interesting story. And I the ending might have let me down but is actully not bad.

I love this manhwa! It's a great psychological-thriller manhwa for those who are interested in it. The art style is absolutely gorgeous and the characters are very hot. The plot is very interesting and well thought out. I feel like we might get a plot twist towards the end but this is just my guess 🙃. The characters are also very well fleshed out and well developed, and you learn more about them as the chapters go on. It also gets pretty creepy to a certain point that it makes you want to keep reading.
