The 6-Year-Old Sage Wants to Hide in the Shadows

The way that Edy interacted with the king of Meiley (ch. 4) is the first time when I thought this series might have some potential to it. The main appeal for me is on the way it has people talking things out and negotiating, or otherwise using their intellects rather than just brute force. That doesn't mean that the negotiations or wit-based aspects are particularly clever, but I still appreciate the way it focuses on more than just Edy's overwhelming magical prowess. In fact, quite a few of the moments that show off Edy's excellence are more based on knowledge and deduction skills based on feir previous life experience and the magical fights feel more supplementary. Edy is willing to confide in certain people that fe is strong, but wants to keep it a secret from the world at large (so that fe's not revered as a Savior in this lifetime as well). There's a character named Clarice, who's a princess knight, and whose role has basically been to be support for Edy, to hug fem, and to find what fe does amazing (Clarice is one of the confidantes who knows about Edy's true strength). The artwork is very bland and generic. [Reviewed at chapter 10]
