Re:Monster

Re:Monster

Tomokui Kanata has suffered an early death, but his adventures are far from over. He is reborn into a fantastical world of swords and magic-- as a lowly goblin! Not content to let this stop him, the now renamed “Rou” uses his new physical abilities and his old memories to plow ahead in a world where consuming other creatures allows him to acquire their strengths and powers.

Tomokui Kanata has been re-incarnated in the weakest goblin, named Rou, after having undergone an unfortunate death. However goblin Rou has retained his previous life's memories, an unusual evolution, as well as becoming strong enough to gain status boosts from eating.

- Both reincarnated as the weakest creature and got strong after that.

- Both can get the ability of the creature they eat.

- Both are the leader of certain group.

- Both are very strong

Hope that helped ^^

LupaLunae LupaLunae says...

Both series involve someone getting reincarnated into a fantasy world as a non-human entity, and in both series they sort of build and expand their own village/communtiy of monsters. Both also tame wolves of some sort later on, and their villages consist of goblins that can "evolve" into hobgoblins or higher.

JESSETHEBUSH JESSETHEBUSH says...

Both wake up in different world, both have similar interpretation of the fantasy world, both protagonists can eat anything and often eat things to gain skills, both protagonists rapidly grow in power, both protagonists gain a cult following and help an originally aweful community to grow and become more advanced, both societys start out with a group of goblins

thor123 thor123 says...

Both of these are isekai manga (based on novels) where a human is reincarnated into a fantasy world... as a monster. There's also RPG-like elements with skill learning, jobs, trading and evolving, plus the MCs are set up to be overpowered.

Engokuki Engokuki says...

Both involve a human dieing and being reincarnated into another world. "eatting" enemies to obtain and power up skills while trying to survive the new world they are thrown into.

slime has more of an overpowered head start but still an interesting read.

ibbejohar ibbejohar says...

They both reincarnation. And they both became ruler. They are not born as human but as a monster.

Leterfrost Leterfrost says...

I found both manga to be realy good even though the mc is a monster and i like how both mc from the manga can grow there power allot

Silament Silament says...

Both are protaganists reborn in another world as monsters rather than humans with abilities that offer them extraordinary growth potential. Both make use of their unique abilities to take command of their respective region of the world and provide protection and peace to those that dwell within them.

Yakoz Yakoz says...

Both manga feature reincarnated characters that found themselves stuck in a strange world with a different body typical of the fantasy world such as slimes and goblins, with the chance to assimilate an ability just by defeating or eating the opponent. Popups typical of the RPG games are recurrent in these comics.

They Both reincarnate as monsters with game like leveling system AKA STATS and POINTS. They also Build a Town for monsters, and of course are super powerfull

Abyss7 Abyss7 says...

I have read both of them.

And so far I can say the plot in slime one is intrinteres with new twists every time

But in re-monster it some what gets a bit of boring afterwards but both are good with comedy and action so I would definitely recommend it to try it once .

You won't get disappointed atleast in slime one.😄

geofm250 geofm250 says...

They both deal with reincarnation and learning new abilities through cosuming things. They both have the main character upgrading the abilities and levels of other characters. They both have the main character form a tribe and war against other groups.

Winks Winks says...

Re:Monster is the darker, more sex-driven, version of Reincarnated As A Slime.

They both have strong protagonists, however I feel that the MC of Re:Monster is more selfish and power-hungry.

The fact that they build strength through the consumption of prey make the basic flow of the manga similar.

So I'm a Spider, So What?

So I'm a Spider, So What?

I was your average, everyday high school girl, but now I've been reborn in a magical world...as a spider?! Wait-this isn't how these stories are supposed to go! Can I get a do-over? ...No? But how am I supposed to survive in this big, scary dungeon as one of the weakest monsters? It's "every spider for herself " in here! I gotta figure out the rules to this QUICK, or I'll be kissing my short second life good-bye...

They both have the adaptation to magic theme that strongly evolves the main character. Both of them being reincarnations based if you like one you will definitely enjoy the other, even with their themes being different they both have the goal to 'survive' and use their human knowledge to do so.

I love both of them

desacron desacron says...

They share a lot of the rpg style elements and the progression of the character so if you like one I think you will enjoy both though personally I liked kumo better than slime.

Both titles involve a character trapped in an unfamilliar body.  The two protagonists begin with godly powers and come to be major political powers.  The reason I feel these two are most related is the mentality of the main character towards monsters.  They both accept that they are monsters and seek to nurture the fellow monsters around them.

very similar when come to the way the protagonist act and conducts him/she. its good for people who like one of them theyll find it very entertaing.

Both manga take place in fantasy, RPG-esk worlds with heroes, monsters, and magic. As both manga progress, the protagonists gain more and more followers and grow more powerful as a result. Both protagonists are proficient in magic as well, and both series are relatively light-hearted with lots of comedic elements.

Vikrus Vikrus says...

If you liked That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime or Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu, you'd like the other because...it is a great manga that is comedic and the mc is overpowered yet humble. he also has his own harem . Mc has pontetial to gain power of a god

The two stories are pretty great and have a similar feel. If you enjoy an adventure story of a peculiar creature setting off on it's adventure through the world as it learns about itself and the world you'll definitely enjoy this recomendation.

mastexx mastexx says...

Both of these manga deal with the main character having to adapt to having a new body in a fantasy world. They also both start out the series in a very weak and vulnerable form, deep in a dungeon, with no idea what is going on. As the characters learn more about their world and their own abilities, they eventually begin to seek out a new life in this world.

I highly recommend both series if you enjoy fantasy-adventure manga featuring main characters who are not a standard fantasy race (like elves, humans, dwarves, etc.).

Realist Maou ni Yoru Seiiki naki Isekai Kaihaku

Realist Maou ni Yoru Seiiki naki Isekai Kaihaku

In a rotted away castle, Ashta awoke as a Demon King. With his wisdom from a past life, he would rule over his lands as a thorough realist. “Demon King, why are you attacking the level 1 Heroes?” “Defeat them before they become stronger. That is called strategy.” “Demon King, why are you sending fake money to the enemy country?” “To bring chaos to their economy so they will self-destruct.” “The werewolf troops have attacked. Should we use silver bullets?” “Not bullets, shoot them with canons.” And like that, Ashta ‘reformed’ the old tendencies. He became a lord who was loved by the people and his subordinates and would go on to be called the most powerful Demon King in history.
