A short, sweet read. Very pure. Emotional without trying too hard. I never thought I'd read a manga that would make me melancholy about scoring 99 points on a test, or crossdressers in a subway station, an old suit, or bright red dancing shoes, but man, did I. A story about multiple people who are down on themselves, from injured old women, and senile grandfathers, to insecure highschool boys, and bad boyfriends. Even the antagonistic characters were humanized. Everyone had faults, but not one character didn't have valid feelings, too. A fluffy read that's not afraid to touch on dark pschological troubles without going too far as to make the read heavy. I also learned some things about flamenco. It's only 28 chapters, I suggest you experience it.

easily one of my favourite mangas. the characters are so real and relatable it's like I can feel each and every emotion the author conveyed effortlessly, while the story in itself is beautiful "losing a dream and meeting a new one" and the idea that the thing you might hate about your body and yourself might be someone else's desire. I also loved the breaking of gender stereotypes and the beautiful courage and acceptance that the main character got from his friends. the story showed a male character I don't think I've ever seen before, he found the red heels pretty and knew it will be his new dream and just went for it no matter the obstacle without feeling insecure about his masculinity. the author even portrayed different emotions and self-struggle with each and every character and not to mention the beautiful art style with it all. I just loved it.
