Starts off with pretty good vibes. Feels like it might have a nice craft and development focused plot, some kingdom building, lil bit of forbidden knowledge. Unfortunately they gloss over the alchemy... Very sad. Luckily, we do get crafting and kingdom building! Just ignore the romance between a child and a reincarnated adult. It's a common occurrence. Instead, feel those VIBES! That's right, we got some good vibes going. Not much is happening, and that's exactly what we need. The story is about... Progress, not events. There's no one moment where a thing happens. Whether is keeps it up into the future is obviously up to fate to decide, but if it does.... That's pretty hype.

Standard tropes, designs, and characters but the interpersonal relationships were nice and uplifting. It was nice to read a complete and positive story in a genre I enjoy and know well. The art was well done, the translation was not. A fulfilling but perhaps unhealthy meal.

I dropped this after 6 chapters. Interesting premise but quickly falls into very common tropes.  Overpowered MC? Check! Unnecessary girl sidekick? Check!  Also unnecessary "cute" mascot? Check! BS fight to attempt to inject some action into the plot? Check! Plot-induced incompetence? Check! I could go on. The tone is inconsistent, going from grim to goofy and back again. Some things are just stupid, like them not knowing there was an ocean past a monster infested forest… an ocean. Or for some reason needing to train the MC’s jailbait sidekick to fight and defeat the prince and leader of their military! In a week!!! Signaling either his incompetence or the existence of weapons that they could only have due to the super forbidden alchemy. And all to earn the respect of common soldiers? It makes no sense, even as a test, if he fails they all lose. The fate of the entire country depends on the performance of a single teenage knight! You know what? Maybe this country deserves to die. Also, this is one of those isekai where it doesn’t really matter that he’s from earth. Our MC somehow went through most of his life without picking up any game changing or just useful skills other than programming which only sorta helped after alchemy had been dropped into his lap. Which itself should actually be weaker than the initial ability he gets which seems to be some form of omniscience, but alchemy is in the title so I guess it matters more...
