A romance story that does a lot right but the most important thing, shoujo-ai, wrong. Overall, the large majority of happenings will make you feel a little empty. There is not much room for happiness and uplifting scenarios. A lighter version of Kuzu no Honkai if you will.

I don't really know how to word this, but it isn't a manga that made me feel good inside. The yuri elements feel a little odd, and they are obviously unrequited, which is normal. But, a little communication could've fixed most of the problems in this story. I'm just left with a mixed feeling about this. It's not trigger-warning worthy, but it's not worth a re-read. Spoilers: The little sister is hopelessly in love with her sister-in-law, and doesn't give up, but has confessed and been rejected. The brother isn't actually in love with the wife, Kaoru. He's only with her because he feels guilty that Kaoru's dying mom said "Hey, when i die, can you support kaoru and make sure she's okay?" Over and over again, he had rejected her, and even went out with her best friend. He shows up at Kaoru's house one day and asks her to marry him, but he has never once, not once, said he has loved her and he was always in love with her friend, and continued to meet up with her (only talking). So afraid of being alone, she doesn't ask about it for like A YEAR. In the end they get a divorce, little sister goes to university, begins a careerwoman life, Kaoru ends up living with the little sister (her ex husbands sister) and eventually many years later when they are both grown adults, they end up being in love with each other.  Kaoru has known Uta since she was a little girl, and felt nothing towards her until eventually many years later? It's just.. I don't like it.
