The meeting between Takane and Hana ends in an explosive manner, and Hana is convinced that she’ll never have to see that awful Takane again. But Takane actually seems interested in Hana! Exasperated by Takane’s immature attitude, yet amused and intrigued despite herself, Hana wonders if her hilarious rivalry with Takane just might lead to love!
Fantastic characters, super organic comedy and unfalteringly pretty art and it's such a refreshing take on shoujo with just enough of a twist to the tired old cliches to really breath some life into it. It does very slightly suffer from that age old refusal to admit feelings to extend the story syndrome but it's not quite long enough yet for it to be annoying. Also contains what has to be the best depiction of a Transexual character I've ever seen in a japanese manga if thats important to you. Anyone who likes a good romantic comedy should really give it a read! Tho I take no responsiblity for anything that happens after chapter 29.
