If you're looking for manga similar to Sweet Home, you might like these titles.
Jin has lived a tough life. One of his oldest memories is waking up in the hospital, having received an artificial heart valve, and a glass eye. And as a student, he's relentlessly bullied for his disabilities. But Jin's school life is nothing compared to his home life, where he's raised by his father, a serial killer who targets young women and forces the boy to act as his accomplice. Can Jin do anything to stop his father's reign of terror without becoming the next victim?
Both series are by the same person, and are hella creepy. I mean, I actually physically jumped because of these, and I don't need to tell you how hard it is to achieve that in a manhwa.
Sweet Home is another webtoon by the same author and eventhough it doesen't look like it is tremendiously similar. I was skeptical about it first because of the plot and because I thought that it would be another cliché story about a zombie apocalipse which are the kind of stories that never intrested me but I was wrong. Sweet Home is much more than a zombie apocalipse, actually it's not even zombies but people that turn into monsters. Just like Bastard it is a psicological drama that will make you think about right and wrong and all inbetween. Sweet Home will show you some wicked truth about humans and their desires you wish weren't true. It is like Bastard because of the way the author will make you think and make you tense at the edge of your seat waiting for the next part.
They have the same feelings
and I am pretty sure that if you like one of them then you will like the other one
They are both done by the same team, and have a lot of themes in common.
Same author, same style, similar mc
Well its by the same peeps and both are pretty spooky with terrifying but great art! Will both leave ya on the edge of your seat
Firstly, it's created by the same author so if you like the art style of Bastard, you'd like the art style of Sweet Home too. In both webtoons, the author creates a tense atmosphere in each panel. You'd feel a sense of caution & fear of what's about to happen next. The main characters of both webtoons aren't too unrealistic & have an urge to escape the reality that they're in. Their surroundings & situations make it hard for them to escape, causing them to plan everything & work with others. You have a constant feeling that something might happen to the main characters but due to their planning & sometimes just luck, they get out of dangerous situations. They both assess the situations they're in making them ready for the next event that would happen, which they plan ahead for and find a way out of the trouble.
Beginning on the 4th day after a zombie virus broke out, this is a story about the will to live, human instincts and our selfish desires. A thrilling tale about the survivors of a zombie apocalypse.
