After spending nine years on Dungeon and Stone, the role-playing game that no player has ever beaten, Hansu Lee finally reaches the dungeon of the final boss. As soon as he opens the gate, however, he suddenly sees a message that says his tutorial has been completed and finds himself in the body of Bjorn Yandel, a real barbarian within the game. An exciting adventure awaits him as he endeavors to abide by the laws of the fictional world!
Wow, just wow. I've rarely read such a well crafted story before. Everything from the plot, to the characters and the world building have been carefully created to please the reader. Like the author actually understand the concept of set-up and pay-off. There are plenty of little details that are planted throughout the story but when there is a call back you are just like "damn that was good".MC is smart. Not smart like he knows everything but smart like he quickly adapts to situations. Although he has the knowledge of the game he is given plenty of setbacks. First of all reality is way crueler than in the game. Monsters are smart and use tactics. If you bleed too much you die, there are no cheat code or shortcuts. You have to grind. There is no game screen which makes it even harder to navigate the world. It feels so real you know? Like MC has to feel and try things before knowing the results or what the situation entails. Also MC is a scammer lmao, which add a bit of humor to the dire situation they are in, in that world. The main characters have very distinct personalities with depth to them. And even random side characters have a brain and are not just mindless mobs. Well a lot of them are but there are also ones who act like a normal human being would. The pacing is good, author really takes the time to unravel the story. I've enjoyed every single chapter of it and I can't wait to read more!
So far really good, main character is actually somewhat unique to other series. The world has many mechanics similar to video games, but MC doesn't have some full on cheat system. Main downside is that there seems to be a haram being developed. If the series drops the haram aspects, could be one of my favorites.
