i loved this so much, before i even knew it the novel was already done i loved that the quaity of the movies xie chi participates in really does increase as the book progresses, and you can tell because theres so much more plot behind each movie. author is amazing for being able to somehow fit a bunch of interesting smaller complex stories into one book without ruining the plot. love the characters also, main couple has my heart <3  the main character xie chi is also really well written, he's smart but there's a reason for it, and he always explains the logic behind his actions even though i am a little late in understanding sometimes. his personality is also very clear, kudos to author :))

Believe me this novel will go beyond and far beyond one's expectations. At first i felt like this doesn't live up the the hype but as chapters went by i realized that it was my way of thinking which was wrong. The story line keeps upgrading with the pace of the story. The concept of this story is very unique. It's intriguing and mindblowing. Xie chi and xie xinglan are really worthy of being the leads. They're amazing and very well written. At first i came to enjoy some dark and psychological story but who would have known there were tremendous heartwarming bonds, friendships,relationships and precious people here to steal my heart? It's dark,mysterious,full of twists and turns, secretive, psychological,obsessive yet at the same time full of love,warmth, mutual understanding, trust, respect,faith as well as cuteness and lots of adorbs. Xie chi is overpowered but not the type where the mc just goes up and boom everything is solved as if magic without proper explanations. The way the story and plot flows really absorbs one's mind. I was immensely immersed in each movie and was able to keep up with the thought process and even came up with my own speculations. Obviously it's not complicated to the max but still i really loved all the process of discovery! It's amazing! Just give it a try. And there's too many unpredictable twists. It's worth it! By the way i really love ran ze,lu wen, ye xiaoxiao, yan jing, shen yi and su qing. And obviously xie chi and xie xinglan! They're really custom made for eachother! Their love is immaculous and leaps through space,time and lifetimes!

i thoght all of the concepts where fantastic and great but i really did not like the execution and i thought the ending twist was unececery, cunfusing and came out of nowhere but i still liked it
