What would you do if you found out that your neighbour is a serial killer? But more importantly - what would you do if some unknown third person was trying to make you kill him?!
One day, a normal, very family oriented man is talking to his neighbour, only to find out that he is an infamous serial killer. To make matters worse, his daughter is being used to threaten him into killing his neighbour. Armed with only one bullet and a knife, he has to take down a killer in only 24 hours if he wants to see his daughter again. Superior Day is a very good psycological series. I was constantly wondering what would happen, and how on earth everything would get resolved. It certainly does a good job of considering how far your morals will let you go, and the implications of that. The main character is really sweet - he loves his family and is very morally upstanding. I found it pretty interesting to see how he reacted to the whole situation. Then the other two main characters are pretty much insane. Both in different ways, but insane none the less. And why a 9 for the art, you ask? It's not that different to a normal manwha. That is because, never have I been genuinely terrified of the art in a manga or anything else for that matter, until Superior Day. There were a couple of moments where just the image alone sent chills down my spine. If that doesn't count as good art, then I don't know what does. If you like series with insane characters and lots of tension, you will definitley like this series.
