First off In case you're wondering if it's a bromance Based on what the author put about being no couples and thinking they're straight that would be a hell to the no! The author is Notorious For gay/ bisexual stuff. A lot of authors in general have to be low key about BL stuff in China unless they're for the Chinese government then they get somewhat support but doesn't mean safe. Some authors share their wechat account just to share uncensored to fans that's not always the case tho I have read the Chinese chapters all the way to chapter556 and more and the chapters that are translated into English like chapter 167 or even up 299 doesn't even catch up to the anime yet that's why you see the anime be more fruity they haven't reached that level yet in the 100s or 200s but The fiance Actually tells keika that tanmoku doesn't fall in love with anyone but keika is the Exception later way more chapters later in 300s chapters she Sticks her middle finger at keika saying she gives tanmoku to him because she knows tanmoku doesn't love her. If that's not enough to convince you that tanmoku has feelings for keika tanmoku even yelled at his family saying "how many Children do you want me to have " he was mad and his Fiance let go of him later in the comic but she knows his family wants him to marry a woman and have kids. He's being forced. Sorry for the bad English spelling mistakes.
The manga of Spiritpact is not as good as the anime. Thats the first thing that came to me as I was reading and its absolutely treu. The art is good but it is quite lacking. After the intial chapters the plot becomes extremely loose. THe relationship between the main characters cannot be called freindship per say, but there must be a limit to slow burn. It drags on and on without and at some point it becomes rather boring. It isn't bad but just that I have seen better. You can absolutely go for it but if you are an english only like me, you will find out pretty soon that translated chaps for this manga aren't easy to get.
